It's sad that these marshes were destroyed by Wheelabrator Saugus and their unlined ash landfill. that incinerator also smells terrible. how is this considered "protected"?

Great place for the pups!

Sadly these marshes are dead because of the Saugus Wheelabrator and other sources of pollution. The disgusting wheelabrator spilled their toxic ash there in 2009, and tried to clean it up themselves, committing ecocide.

Not the most beautiful or dynamic reservation I have visited. Path is just a continuous straight line that only provides fleeting water views. Entrance is not well marked and should be adjusted on Google Maps to show the small parking lot on Ballard Street. Whole place is a bit desolate and slightly unsafe feeling.

Yes. One of the popular spots is one of the bridges on the northbound side of Rt 107/Salem Turnpike. There are parking spaces to pull over in and the bridge has a wide space for fishers.
Did not see one, but there's plenty of easy natural access.✌️
