Great airport but please read the full disclosure why it’s a 1 start (trust me you won’t be disappointed as I was), the experience traveling to RI was definitely something to remember and put down on my bucket list, last time I was here traveled through Boston, but this is so much convenient to our plans, I want to make some remarks so fasten your seatbelts because we are taking a ✈️: We came from FLL and it took us not 2 but 3 flights, American Airlines doesn’t have a straight flight to PVD, so it was a hassle to say the least, we made stops on our way here at CLT and PHL, that took if since 8am that we left FLL to 3:30pm so to not continue reminding my self of the many hours on the planes and waking this airports let’s get to the fun part. In RI we visited friends and enjoyed amazing times, we walked and saw the Rhode Island State house, the Providence mall, we traveled to Massachusetts to Cape Ann Whale watch you can see the review I did for them, then we headed for dinner at Salem, and there’s also a rehire for the delicious Rockafellas rest, also check out the review lol (yes I like doing reviews it’s my thing 😂). Following this adventure we drove to Fall River and had a great time at the Tipsy seagull ( there’s also a review on that place 😉) and then we stopped by one of the must spooky places in the area the “Lizzy Borden House” 🏠 ( bro that was scary) to conclude our trip with a Bang 😱 👻. To wrap it up, when we arrived to the airport for the 6:00am flight ✈️ in American Airlines. The lady at the gate whose name I have but I won’t provided on my review to not point fingers on the negative spectrum, when we got to the gate at 5:44am with a very unfriendly attitude and tone of diminishing stated “YOUR LATE and the plane ✈️ won’t is leaving”, I told her excuse me we are here and we must board the plane, I explained in less than 1 minute our case and at 5:45am when there was still the 15min deadline to board, she continued “the Door is closed and I’m not stopping the plane, your late and that’s it” I asked to call the manager and she said I needed to go go the AA counter and talk to her there cause I was not getting on the plane ( man I was so upset and unhappy) there’s ways to communicate to customers and still provide help. I felt the lady just did not want to go the extra mile by trying to help me and my husband, she just stated “the company policy” and sent us to a set back of so many hours that I had literally walked the whole airport. At the counter for AA Joanne helped to put us on the wait list for the next flight (fingers crossed 🤞🏼 to be able to board). With plenty of time here I decided as mentioned before to walk around and make the experience “the best I could” I stopped by the information desk and “Joanne” ( yes there’s a few Joanne’s working in here not the same one of AA 🤣) was very helpful, sweet and we even took a selfie 🤳🏾 ( yes I’m the selfie guy with the people I have the chance to interact and I feel they make a positive impact on what they do 🫶🏼☀️💖). I’m a firm believer that love and good vibes need to be spread around the globe 🌍 so while I have the chance I’ll keep sharing my experiences, providing tips, tricks and great information to whoever wants to dedicate some time to read my content. If you have reached up to here please follow my IG page @victorjoa06 and you can see more of my thoughts and experiences. Have an amazing day and sending love to everyone out there 🙌🏼💖

Love this airport! Small, easy to park, get in and go! DD is a plus as well.

Everything went well, people were terrific.
Aquarius
Small and efficient

If you approach the airport, there should be signs posted for the entrance to the return structure. Follow the ramp up to your rental agency and they will meet you at the turn in destination. They will also be able to provide directions to the terminal.
5 am
yes same side of street. as airport. Coming from main ave it would be 3 or 4 blocks before airport. Large sign two feet from edge of street says " CELLPHONE PARKING LOT"
Same side of post road as airport. Medium size sign on edge of road says Cell Phone Parking Lot.
It depends on the need for the customer service if you're calling for one of the airlines or an airport question. Should be listed on their website
Northstar Aviation i think. But as long as they never make contact with your property, or if you don't own the sky above your property I believe they are not doing anything wrong. Look at it like a free airshow! That's fun!
The hidden disability Sunflower Lanyard is an active program at PVD.
Yes - at least they did in mid-January. Hours seem fairly limited .
Yes positive picture no other paperwork needed
I came from Fort Lauderdale yesterday to ,No you don't
I personally suggest Lyft they tend to be cheaper
Yes you can that's how it works
I would go online to your airline and thay may have that information.
There was a money exchange unit on the way from the car rental but I do not know if it exchanges Euros
According to the web site, 5:30 AM is during peak travel time so Security processing takes longer. I would suggest you arrive as early as possible, 4 AM at the latest. Verbatim from their web site: T.F. Green Airport and the Transportation Security Administration have taken significant steps to minimize the amount of time you spend waiting to go through the passenger screening checkpoint. Typical wait time is no more than a few minutes. However, during peak travel hours or days, lines may be longer than normal - typically 5am-7am and 4pm-6pm. Summer months typically require travelers to budget extra time. Your checkpoint wait time may also depend on the number of carry-on bags and types of packed items. Please plan according. Tables and benches are readily available for passenger convenience while revesting.
You can check 2 bags free with Southwest. Size and weight restrictions apply.
Question should be the flight you are interested in and for that you should ask the airline directly.
There are several options , garage a most expensive, garage c is great , lot D long term , farther away
Should be 4am (2hrs prior to departure)
I believe Jet Blue does, but they have been having a raft of problems as of late.
Yes
Once you exit at street level, there is a wide street along the building. There is a street platform (a road island - haha) on the other side. That is where buses for long term lot E, hotels, ride shares, and groups are being picked up. You must cross the street to that area.
If you have a Clear membership, you don't need a license to get through security. Contact TSA to ask what your options are
Mask all the time when around people and get vicinated
You probably should put them in your check bag.
No, they did not
Please get there early
Yes you can bring your own food to the airport and through security and on to the aircraft. Be aware that certain foodstuffs such as cheese might trigger a secondary bag inspection of your carry-on items.
Taunton to green? If that's what you're asking it's about a half hour to 40 minutes
Depends on the size of the airport 2- 1.5 hours is fine if its a small airport
The best thing to do is call the airline; and they can give the best answer about delays, cancellations, and rescheduling you flight.
Drop off is the top level and pick up is on the bottom level .. Short Term (pay to park) parking is just outside baggage claim.. Cell phone lot is just down the street and free... So person can call you and within 2 minutes you can just pull up without paying
Sorry I'm not sure either. But if you call I'm sure they will let you know
Yes as long as they have id
Sorry I don't know. But the rental cars are supposed to provide during their open hours
They have a key Dropbox. I would call the retal company and as for instructions. I am sure they will accommodate you
You'll just be required to wear a mask at all times.
Agree with checking in online. I check in online and use my digital boarding pass (qr code). That way all I have to do is just walk through tsa security. No waiting in line to check-in or receive a boarding pass. This works if you don't need a checked luggage. If you do, though, you'd need to do check your luggage in at a check-in counter I believe. Not sure on that part since I haven't done it at this airport. But you can still check-in online and have a digital boarding pass even if you will have a checked luggage.
Be at the airport 4 am
When we returned a couple of weeks ago, they're were free rapid tests near baggage claim
Use PVD that's the airline code for that airport
I used the Jet Blue app and the information was very helpful. Short answer, different price.
No it was only for Thanksgiving weekend l, and only for peace of mind!! I thought I could use the test for work, wrong. The Gov never mentioned that.
h
Yes right now you can still fly with a regular ID they push the real ID back a year
You are better off using the signal from your cell phone provider. Did not connect to the Wi-Fi and had no issue's in speed.
Self regulated. I was there today.
No
22" and it fits perfectly over your seat on the plane😃
I'm pretty sure you have to remove all electronic devices prior to going through the scanner. In which case your FitBit should be safe and secure if removed.
Pretty sure it stops your heart.
Yes, that is correct. The agencies are located on the floors above the train station on Jefferson Blvd and the street entrance is right next to it and well marked. It is connected to TF Green via the skywalk. If you are getting dropped off, your ride can drop you at the station lot and you can take the elevator up to your agency.
Domestic flights yes - international flights no.
Our flight yesterday was boarding at 5:35am... got there at 4:15am; airport was in full swing
You can find the guidelines for what you can pack in your carry-on on the TSA website at tsa.gov.
If you go down airport rd there is a field over there. Like a soccer field and play ground. It's at one of the lights depending on what way your coming from. You have to look for signs because you can't see it from the street. You will turn and go kinda behind the airport.
I have used Knights Limo service to travel from T.F Green to Boston Logan airport.
It will show up just past the luggage area along the back wall.
Cell phone lot on Post road
Usually closes at 12AM to 2AM depending on flights for car pickup. If you are coming in late best to contact your rental service about your flight information. (Or if you get delayed). Drop off however is 24 hours if you are a say a gold member of Hertz etc etc...you can do an express drop off.
There may not be a direct flight married but I'm sure there is flights to Alabama check CheapOair they usually have the cheapest fares
Use a travel site for price quotes.
You can call the airport or the who ever you fly with and they should be able to let you know. If not look on Google flights
Be mindful while flying otherwise stay off the plane.
Ok I can't get a refund
Yes. You should be able to get a Lyft. There are always drivers around. You may have to wait a few minutes
Everyday is different while traveling leave early for the unexpected.
4:00am
rent a car
right when you take a left after security
Yes you can meet the person you're picking up in the airport you just can't go past security. But you can wait at the baggage claim area.
Did you travel on the same flight as your luggage? Your claim shack matches your flight number? If so, the airline will deliver your lost or delayed luggage to your residence, hotel, or office. Just check with the lost luggage agents at your airline carrier. As far as the parking, it is run by the airport and not the airlines so unless the airline gives you a parking voucher or token, then yes you would have to pay to park.
Ur drivers licence is fine as long as u r staying in the country
I have seen personnel assisting with baggage claim
All the car rental companies are offsite in the nearby car rental center. All the major car rental companies are located here: Avis, Hertz, Dollar, Budget, National, Alamo, etc.
Yes - just no matches.
TF Green currently has one single terminal! United is generally off to the left after you clear security.
Online on the website of the company you flying with. Normally checkin is open online 24 hours before flight departure time. At the airport check-in desks open a couple of hours before flight departure time.
If airport is open then usually car rentals are too. Especially if a flight is scheduled in. Best to check with the rental company to be sure when you make the reservation for the car.
Ask airline, tsa. And consider obtaining written permission to authorize urgent medical care. Even first aid stations can't give a bandaid without consent
Probably not. This airport is not open 24 hours.
Security at green takes 15 minutes to get through. Id give yourself an hour and 15 minutes minimum to be on the safe side but its a small airport so its very easy to get to your gate, and tsa literally flies! ✈️
No you can't leave the holding area
I believe you can get all done as a walk in. However alot depends on where you are planning on going.
$15-30 a day
They may have a counter there but if not it's only around the corner uber or taxi could take u
Using your smartphone app store to download free apps for most airlines and cheaper rate searcher apps.
There is an elevator and escalator going up from baggage area to rental cars. Upstairs on the wall near the elevator is a phone to call for a shuttle to take you to rentals.
Yr good
Check with TSA or your airline.
Off site car rental companies normally will operate their own free shuttle between their location and the airport...Double check with your rental company.
You can get a prepaid card in different currencies on second floor but may close at 5pn
Not sure you would have to call TSA office at Green
Luggage storage right in the airport. No
Not sure, but interesting way to spell what.
Check bus website for Airport dropoff location
Yes. Follow signs in airport for rental cars. All major companies available.
Yes you can
Yes, the obove answer is correct. You will need to contact an airline or several to check prices.
There is only one terminal at TF Green. Look at the signs at the departures dropoff curb to see which entrance is closest to the desks for a given airline.
Yes. Like could be over $150
Amtrack stops in Providence, not at the train station station attached to the airport. The Boston (MTBA) commuter rail runs between both stations.
Yes, Frontier started nonstop service from Providence to Denver last year.
We found one, thank you!!!
Yeah like Tommy Taylor said you need to contact airlines ASAP to let them know.
There is Delta Southwest jet blue and many more air transportation services
No, all passengers are required to have q government issued ID, some states will only accept a passport
You can use a mobile boarding pass or the airline will print one for uou5
As long as it is a state issued license with your photo, you *should* be ok. If you have a passport, you can use that as well. But i sould definitely contact TSA to ask them to be sure.
Last time I used Uber out of PVD, you had to go to lot D (the surface lot directly in front of the terminal) to meet a ride share driver. The driver incurs a $6 fee that is passed on to the rider to access this lot. Ridehsare pickups at the curb can now result in a significant fine for drivers.
Again questions of fare should be asked of the airlines. Also you're gonna need to know their animal restrictions, immunization paperwork, is it a service animal or cabin pet. Do you have the correct size carrier. Are you going to ship it in the cargo hold or put it under the seat in front of you. Where in Florida and what dates of travel? You need to speak directly to the Airlines.
Last time I was there I stayed at the Sheraton in 2 blocks down on right. They have a shuttle as well as most airport hotels.
Always 2 hours beforehand at most airports including providence at larger airports 3 hours
It depends on your departure airport. If you preclear customs abroad, you dont have to recheck; but otherwise you will neednto get your bags and recheck after customs. Custom clearance times depend on how many international flights have landed and can rapidly fluctuate. Prepare for at least an hour to get through customs. 1.5 hours should be enough, but please note you will need to go through TSA after customs.
Looks like of airlines that service PVD, American, Delta, and United fly into AZO
The only train service to PVD is the commuter rail from Boston's South Station, and the closest the Boston commuter rail gets to Sandwich is Plymouth, so if you can get to Plymouth, that is your rail option.
Arrivals Bottom level parking or short term parking have some money as parking cost are by the hour. Then go inside to the baggage claim for Delta
Best to print it ahead of time or you can go to a self help kiosk. Some low fare carriers will charge you a printing fee for a paper copy. YOU airline may also an electronic boarding pass from their website or app.
At least a passport to fly out of country.
Large parking is connected to the airport via bridge.
Im not sure i only drive in
There is no currency exchange at this airport.
No. No currency exchange there.
That is a question you should direct to Delta to see what as a carrier they allow.
Check with specific airlines to see if there are any outbound flights.
Yes, let the gate agent and flight attendant that you are doing so when you arrive and when you board the aircraft
The Boston commuter rail runs to a station that is connected to TF Green by sky bridge. That will take you directly into Boston. If your flight doesn't line up nicely with the commuter rail schedule, there are more frequent trains to the Providence station, which you can reach by uber/taxi. Otherwise its a pricey cab or uber fare direct to Boston, or renting your own car.
ProViDence
I didn't see one.
Yes there is a bus.
That is a question for TSA. If you license is expired but you have a valid passport you should be able to however I don't think they will allow a non current license.
