Lol Bellmawr is a joke. Their flower is so inconsistent, they never have enough supply, and their staff is a disgrace. Uneducated and rude, not to mention some of the patients who go there who think they are entitled.. won’t even touch on that though. Breakwater is top quality , fairly priced ( for NJ MMP anyways) always consistent , and the workers from the front end back to the grow room are friendly , knowledgeable, and actually care if patients get their relief. Funny, their name is curaleaf and they fail at their curing process.

Initial appointment can be scheduled via phone or possibly online. Only need to do this once, with each dispensary.

You have to buy an eight and quarters, but they can give you your whole ounce at once. At Breakwater an ounce of Premium bud would be 460. Each quarter is 115, and each eighth is 58. So you save a dollar if you buy 1/4 vs 2/8. Also the longest that you might wait once you're inside is 15 minutes. The best time to go is early on a weekend, or during the day on a weekday. Just make sure that you make your initial appointment first. And even if it's in a group take it, sometimes people cancel you end up by yourself anyway

For premium buds yes, everything else comes in a sealed bag. They dont judge you by the way you look or smell. If you are a patient they cannot turn you away. As long as you make your initial appointment beforehand, you will be good! I love everyone at this dispensary, they are like family to me. Lol

I must say the quality of medical marijuana is an equivalently better than curaleaf. The staff is sincere, not like a robot. Also seriously concerned with my well-being. Considering a week before I had double hernia surgery, they got me in, in one day.

Unless you are over 63 or under 17, the last number on your ID determines if you go Monday and Wednesday (odd numbers) or Tuesday and Thursday (even numbers). After sitting in the lot in the morning for hours, I started going in the afternoon. Show up between 3 and 4 and there's virtually no wait.

If you go on Facebook join NJMMP support group. They put together meet ups all the time all over the state. You must be a cardholder though to join. Good luck !

You need to make an appointment for a first time visit and make sure that it's the ATC listed on your account on the website. After that there is no appointment needed.

Try a group appointment or check out curaleaf need to have a consultation for first time but dont have to make appointment can walk in. Might be a wait or can make appointment online. When I did mine I booked and had my consultation the same week. Breakwater is not as good as Curaleaf either. You can also go to Harmony no appointment or consultation needed for first time. Just bring your card ring the bell and walk on in and get your medicine. They also have a travel discount of 50 miles or more around trip and save 10% on top of all other discounts that is available to you. They also have one strain in convince line per day 20% off on top of all discounts available to you . Wood bridge,Garden State Dispensary(GSD) does require a first time consultation and appointment! I went to 3 others before GSD and still required appointment do not listen to the other guide when they said you don't. The only one you don't need appointment is at Harmony in Seacusus nj

No, unfortunately edibles aren't legal yet. But Breakwater did just get the okay to start making edibles. They have not gotten the okay to sell them yet though. Hopefully soon though! *I visit often and have asked the counselors and bud tenders when edibles may be available*

You line up in your car if the lot is full upon arrival. You Must Wear a Mask, they have cones outside that are 6'apart and hand sanitizer at the door. Only 6 or 7 ppl are allowed in at a time. Plus they have glass dividers between each window.

Unfortunately that is all you can do, pick another ATC. Breakwater has a high demand and is the only ATC that can meet its patient demand. Worth the wait, keep the appointment, but go to another ATC for now

That doesn't seem right....I would call in the a.m. and ask, hope its a glitch in the system. I waited a month but that's crazy. Garden state in Woodbridge is the next closest.

NJ finally allowed delivery of medicine, but I've yet to see anyone actually doing that. Breakwater hasn't expressed any interest in delivery though, but a few other dispensaries have.

As of yesterday only even numbers on Tuesday and Thursdays while odd numbers are Wednesday and Fridays rule is still in effect and its at least a 45 minute to an 1 hour wait in your car and they limit how many people can go in.

Breakwater ATC is strictly medical. In New Jersey, recreational marijuana usage is still illegal. As Luis explained, it's a highly overseen process, which is excellent for patients because that ensures the quality remains maximized and it's purity guaranteed. If you have a qualifying condition, it will take about 3 mo. to: establish a relationship with a NJ MMP licensed physician, clean your body of any 'street' marijuana (uranalysis is used to ensure you're clean of it - ironic, right? lol so no smoking), then apply to the state, get approved, pay for your registration fee, and then finally you will get your physical license in the mail in 7-10 business days. At this point, you can contact you home ATC and make that initial appointment. After the initial appointment, you can walk in and purchase any time, up to the quantity limit of your prescription. Truthfully, it's a damn headache... especially when you have cancer and time isn't on your side... But, for now, that's how it's done.

No, medical dispensariesin NJ sell THC products. Natural pharmacies usually sell CBD.

They have a BOaX which is a famous strain for having 1% or less THCA and THC while having high CBD levels. You need a card from NJMMP to purchase or even enter.

It used to be a LONG wait but they've improved wait time greatly. I found the place in Woodbridge was quicker... but breakwater is a good dispensary and worth giving it a try.

THC content can be from 13% - 29 % depending on the strain But even with lower THC strains still help out with problems like alertness and nausea even if its not a high THC content buds , thr higher THC content is for people who want less bud to get you "high" bit they all do their medical duties no matter what the THC is in the strain.

Breakwater top buds 120.00 a quarter last I checked. Curaleaf 100.00 Small bud 75.00 quarter. Quality is getting better.

Their menu divides the strains into indica, sativa, and hybrid but they show the level of THC and CBD for each strain. If u hwve an MMP card go check their daily menu and talk to someone.

Yes you can purchase same day you have your first appointment. You'll need to make one for each dispensary on your first visit.

Since you have your card you can go online with the State program and it will advise as to your monthly periods and your allotment. You can purchase your full allotment during the month in one purchase or over many. That is up to you. Initially I worked with my doctor and Breakwater to sample a few strains recommended to help with my pain until I found one that works best for me.

Your right melanie,I have full body RSD from brain down to my feet.I also have major spine injuries. RSD is a very serious disease .If you have a serious medical conditions or something that the state will consider. Breakwater is the best place to go if u want to choose them.I highly recommend. You need a utility bill in your name attached to your current address on all ids. They will not take any form of state id or mailings as proof of residency. This part of process held me back an entire month. U need referral, script, and to send them proof tht u pay a utility in your home. I wish i had been told this. Cell phone bill will do
