I’m giving prestige itself a 5 star because the customer service was phenomenal, Jeff S was our sales guy and he was very upfront and honest throughout the whole process , if we had any questions or concerns, he answered them in very timely manner, even on his days off, he goes above and beyond. However, prestige needs to look into their manufacturing company because that company (Nobility homes)is what’s causing prestige to have bad star reviews.

We went through many Prestige reviews at multiple locations and did our own research on the Prestige process. We were well prepared going into this and I think that makes allll of the difference. We met Jeff at the Tavares location. He was so friendly and happy; we decided this was the guy we wanted to work with. (This is our first ever home so it was scary and exciting.) When we finally got the Title we came back to the office to sign some documents with Tim… If Tim met us the first day we came to Prestige we would have RUN. He was extremely unwelcoming. What we’ve learned: - Make sure gutters are included before finalizing your mortgage. - Unforeseen expense will arise. Make sure you have about 5k extra to spend after making a down payment. - multiple contractors will be part of completing your home. You will need to clean. - Your sells person IS your lifeline, way past your realitor! - Prestige cannot do everything for you, this is a teamwork kind of deal. - Call Florida811 for locates and do your own locates asap - Keep your own calendar with contact info and notes - Call your electric company everyday, they take forever to do things. I would recommend Prestige, if your sells person is Jeff… Hopefully Prestige hires more friendly people; it would really make this company better:)

This company is a joke or at least the office in Tavares is. They have men there that don’t keep their word. Specifically Tim, who also blames everybody else on anything. Before we even got this home he was all “give me money for this, give me money for that or else we can’t place your home there.” And after it was paid we wouldn’t hear from him for months and any problem that was going on was everybody else’s fault and now we call for repairs or just anything and it’s “oh it’s your problem now after JUST telling me he’d fix it. Then he has the nerve to tell to us turn in a paper to him with the repairs we need done…. a month passes by after turning it in. We call him several times (because at this point he’s annoyed with us so he doesn’t want to answer)… he then gives us a phone number to call and an email to send the list (which he has). We call that number and they tell us that they never received that list from him. We strongly regret going here for a home.

After reading the reviews I will not buy from this company. What is disturbing is that if you sort the reviews by date, you can see that they had a lot of 1 star reviews 2 years ago, 1 year ago, and still today. Even when renting a movie I won't get it if it has less than 4 stars. Why would I talk to them about buying a home when they have a 2.4 star rating, with no improvement over 2 years? It very much looks like they just aren't taking care of their customers very well. They claim supply issues. But that wasn't a problem 2 years ago was it? They have bad reviews going way back.

The blue home is the Vacation Cottage. It's a one bedroom, one bath. We will have pictures of a vacation cottage on our website, prestigehomecenters.com We have two bedrooms that are similar.
