Did not expect much from a local mom and pop motel but was very pleasantly surprised. This was the cleanest most well maintained place I've ever stayed in. Ed, the owner ( I did not meet his wife Judy) was very nice. I would definitely stay here again!

Our immediate family has been traveling to the Lancaster-Ronks Pa. for many years and during recent years we have chosen to stay at Countryside Motel located at 134 Hartman Bridge Road, Ronks, Pa. The owners Ed and Judy are the most pleasant and thoughtful people that we have ever met in our travels. Their Motel is close to all the many activities yet their country location is quiet, very clean and well maintained. We wouldn't stay elsewhere in the area and we suggest to our traveling friends to enjoy their visits to the area and find out for themselves what a restful and enjoyable experience it is to meet the owners and their pleasant personalities. It is now our home away from home.

I would've given it a full 5 star rating but the only problem is, I haven't stayed there. That's true. I have a friend that lives across the street and I visited on several occasions and every dam time I do, google blows up my notifications asking how my stay was. But for what it's worth, I've heard nothing bad about the place and all the guests I have seen come and go appear to genuine bonafide tourists that have bestowed their presence upon Lancaster County to enjoy farm fresh air and sample some of the plainest fancy baked goods while spending some of that big city money on some antique farm wares hand made quilts. That's alot more than can be said about some of the other little roadside motels that litter the touristy Lincoln Highway, claiming to be locally owned and operated but the only thing local about them are the guests who frequent motels panhandling and soliciting actual tourists. But what they have to offer is anything but shoo-fly pie. So if you want a clean, safe wholesome satisfying place to squat during your journey to Amish country, I would have to say that Countryside Motel beats any other roadside motels in this neck of the woods. At least it appears that way. I never seen the cops there. And Nobody has appeared to be angry or disappointed leaving the place. I say go for it. unless it cost to much.
