Called 5 times to speak with someone. Phone lines were not working! Extremely unhelpful and inefficient. Tax payer dollars at waste for antiquated systems.

Carol Alvarez was soooo helpful to get me the help I needed for my Homestead/Disability application. She truly is an asset to you and I hope she gets a raise for all her hard work and patience with customers. Thank you Carol, God bless you!!

I have been TRYING patiently to call the Property Appraisors office to ask a few questions about continuing our exemptions from our Cape Coral home of 18 years to our new home in Estero. Same county - Lee. Have been unable to get through. It rings ONCE then goes to busy. Very frustrating. Why invite taxpayers to call with questions if we can't get through. The 888 number doesn't work at all. The 6150 number goes through on weekends but no one is there to answer. What a JOKE!

Hello, what is the property address?
Property is always owned by a person or an entity. Please contact our office at (888) 721-0510 for further assistance.
If you are needing to change the mailing address on your property, this can be done through the website, www.leepa.org.
Yes for over 65. There is also a homestead discount for any age
It can be done with one deed. Please keep in mind, if the property is your homestead, ownership changes can affect this. It is highly recommended you contact an attorney or title company for assistance.
You would need to reach out to the individual companies as there are many contractors in the area. I imagine they all do.
I recommend using the property appraiser's website (www.leepa.org). From the homepage, select database search which is located on the left side of the home page. You can search for a specific property using a variety of methods like the owner's name, site address, and etc. Once you have located the property, open it's property details and you can view ownership, sale history, and more. This should hopefully include some of the information your searching for. If your looking for more business specific info that is outside of the land/building values then this may or may not be helpful. Best of luck!
Tax amounts would be on the Tax Collector's site, www.leetc.com.
This information would be available from the Clerk of Court's office. Visit their website at www.leeclerk.org.
Not at all. As long as your driver's licenses and, if you vote, your voter IDs are registered to the property address, you will be fine.
Statutory deadline is March 1, 2020 for the November, 2020 tax bills.
In America, you don't own your house. In this country, the Government owns every single building and every single square inch of the land, straight from Karl Marx. And people in those houses raising families, they are renting those houses from the government. And in Florida, the rent bill comes annually.
The Lee County Tax Collector sents out the bills each year on or before November 1st. They are already available on their website. Www.leetc.com
You would need to go to your lender or the company that did the survey. Their name should be listed somewhere in your closing documents. SOMETIMES, a copy is recorded in the Public Records with the Clerk of Courts but, that is rare.
Visit www.leeclerk.org. You can search by the owner's name to see what has been recorded. Obviously, this does not guarantee something is not in the works. It only shows what has been recorded.
Supply the Property Appraiser's office with a copy of the death certificate along with a brief note. NOTE: This does NOT change legal title. There is a process for recording this information. Please contact your attorney for additional assistance.
You can check online or call between business hours.
Yes, by visiting the Tax Collector's office at www.leetc.com
You can go to Lee County Tax Collector website. Or call them during business hours.
You can call or come in and talk to someone in public services/ exemptions. They should be able to get you squared away.
