Great place for your pups to play and swim. Not a huge beach, but big enough. It does get crowded in the summer on the weekends. There is a rinse station near the rear of restrooms when the fur babies are done playing to wash the saltwater away. Dogs of all sizes running around so if you have small children, just remember this is for the pups. If you are active duty, retiree, or a disabled veteran you'd not have to pay the $6.00 entrance fee, just show your ID.

$6 entry fee for a good doggy swim? No problem. Great place. Dog Beach is small but packed with fun filled adventures. Well maintained, and has a rinsing station after getting dirty. Alot of seaweed and small debris come up, but it doesn't bother the doggies. I'd advise getting a pfd for smaller dogs. Best of luck trying to set up a mat to sit on without getting sand tossed at you from the running pack!

Highly recommended for dogs and dog owners. I've seen a few people expecting a sun-tanning beach and were disappointed. A beautiful beach for dogs to enjoy with their people. Note: it is not 100% enclosed. Most dogs that go are very well behaved. We go year round.

Smaller beach but protected by jetties, providing a perfect place for your pup to swim and humans to wade. Short walk from parking lot to beach (~.5mi), but involves going up/down hill. Dog wash station available. Recommend shoes to walk …

There is no swimming, but a lot of people go knee deep to be in there with their pups!
No.
Yes, your dog will need to be leashed while walking through the park. Once we got to the dog beach she came off the leash and played in the water.
Yes.
