Staff is insanely nice (especially the guy who works overnight on weekends) but this is probably a 2* hotel. Rooms are insanely small and cramped (but clean). Bed is at least comfortable enough, but you’ll hear both street noise (even from 7th floor) and hallway noise quite well. Amenity fee is a joke. Wifi is horrific - it’s borderline unusable. Thank god I can hotspot on my phone.

My partner and I have just checked in. Flummoxed by the $100 a day deposit, as well as the $20 a day "amenity" fee. Fine whatever maybe the room is super luxe. We're told that there's a complimentary beer on check in, ok pretty cool but we don't drink can we get Coke instead and this guy hands us ONE can of Coke. Er what? Then we get up into the room and first off it's poky, not small but poky. There's long curly hairs in the sink and on the toilet paper roll. Barely any toiletries. There's charging for your devices on only one side of the bed. Also only one robe in the closet. This room is obviously set up for the solo traveller. Not for couples at all. The TV is messed up can't play without stopping, image all garbled. See pics can't describe it. Found what looked like a scab at worst or dried food at best in the bed. My partner tried to call the front desk but couldn't get through so now he's downstairs trying to get a different room. Was pretty excited walking into the lobby but unfortunately that excitement didn't last very long at all.

Great location. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. No funny "hotel" smell.

I prepaid for the room (hotel tonight) had an authorization stay on my bank account for $260 for exactly 30 days then additional charges finally went through, $180. Parking was $50 a night and there’s a $20 per night amenities fee ( what amenities ) I got a micro no frills room, no beer at check in and apparently I couldn’t be trusted with any honor bar snacks in my room. Bigger cheaper nicer rooms elsewhere and parking is 1/2 the cost. Totally feel scammed and won’t be staying here again.

Yes and u get a beer when u check in!!!
Hotel Max doesn't have a shuttle. But there are shuttles and Uber from the airport. There is a specific Uber parking lot, follow signs for ground transportation and ride share. Uber is around $40 US dollars from the airport to the hotel. I don't think there is a shuttle to warf, but I'm not 100% sure, I haven't been there.
Easy walk, 5 blocks to the market and a few more to the pier. Easy walk, it wouldn't be worth calling an uber.
Washington state doesn't allow smoking in any buildings or within 25 feet of doorways.
