I have been shopping in this store for the longest I can remember. Even during the Covid crisis , this store was fun to be in. Employees were energetic, you can feel it through their great customer service. You could tell they care about you and what they sell. I am not great with management myself but, I can tell the difference. I went to the store last week and everyone seemed like they hate their jobs. You can tell the management changed for the worst. As a person who worked in retail for years, I understand the difference. If anyone from cooperate is reading this. Probably not but it's worth a short. Please change the management in that store before everyone runs away or possibly close the store for less revenue. Officially, you have lost a customer because of how the vibe feels when you walk in the store. I would rather shop online or go to other locations for pickup. I clearly won't state names cause I don't want to have anyone fired but, something is wrong with the Cambridge store at the moment. If you are looking to shop at BestBuy. Save yourself a good day and stop by other locations. I am saddened as I write this as this is the closet BestBuy store to my house. What a disappointment to what management changes can do to employees, customers and the company's reputation.

The official policy, is that customers can return an unopened item that the store currently keeps in stock without any proof of purchase. This is possible as long as the SKU (Stock Keeping Unit, a number that represents an exact item) is one that Best Buy currently keeps in stock. The item also must be listed on BestBuy.com

In my experience, you're always better off talking to someone at the customer service desk because they can track down whichever department you need - from geek squad to appliances. If you just want to talk to someone about products in general and not go into an actual store, call the customer service number on their website (the toll free number) or even connect with the "customer service chat feature" through their site or app. Those have always been the most helpful experiences with best buy.
