In my experience, you're always better off talking to someone at the customer service desk because they can track down whichever department you need - from geek squad to appliances. If you just want to talk to someone about products in general and not go into an actual store, call the customer service number on their website (the toll free number) or even connect with the "customer service chat feature" through their site or app. Those have always been the most helpful experiences with best buy.
I can't say I've ever been in a Best Buy and had any trouble getting assistance from the staff. More importantly, I'm more surprised if someone doesn't approach me within 5-10 minutes to ask, "can I help you find something".
Call them. There's an option to speak to a staff member
There are many workers work on floor. So just ask someone....
