Pretty cool park with a quick stop to see the prayer rock used by George Washington's mother. Amazing tree watching over the cemetery and rock. A storm knocked down several trees but the large very old protection tree was seemingly untouched perhaps protected by a greater force. With a stop while in the area.

My 4 yr old grand-daughter always has a great time at Kenmore Park. The playground area is fun and climbing the hill to stand on the big rock adds an additional opportunity for adventure

I love this beautiful park. It has an excellent hill for sledding, hiking up, some historical sights, and a few play areas amongst the massive pine trees. As well as basketball, tennis and handball courts. You should give it a visit!

Tony and I spent the night in Fredericksburg MD in hopes of being able to get into some of these lovely historic sites But many of them were closed due to Covid-19 This Plantation home was the house of Fielding Lewis and his wife Betty Washington, the sister of George Washington. Their mother, Mary Washington is buried very close to her home. The Plantation grounds were closed but we were able to see the house and outer buildings from the gate. We are planning another trip back in the late spring
