Beautiful park. Kind of a hidden gem in Fredericksburg

Pretty decent place, the playground got a little crowded at times but not for long. My daughter and I were able to see a couple ducks hanging out in the water near the walking trail which was really cool. I appreciate the bathroom! Decently clean for a public park and great to have with a young child.

This is a wonderful, wooded community park. We stopped here during a road trip to give the children (and us) a chance to stretch our legs and I'm so glad we did. It's a bit hidden away in a residential community, and a wonderful surprise to stumble upon. The play equipment is in good condition and it has a good diversity of equipment for the size of the park. I appreciated the tranquil environment the most: the soft running water, the trees. The water bridge was awesome. Ah, it was just what we needed to stave off a nap -- and allow us to actually get some sleep at the hotel. :) I gladly recommend this cozy, little park.

Nice quiet park, has plenty of trees, a stream runs through it. There are various walking paths and a paved fitness trail. Benches are strategically placed throughout the wooded area and man made steps help with elevation and rock formation …

I wondered, probably back post covid
Park and walk past the playground area to the trail. Go down the steps and walk left down the bank. It's not big by any means but still cool.
It's free. I've been going to this park for 20 year, over by the rest rooms where is a bike trail that you can walk on also if you walk through the park picnic area and continue past the children's play area swing sets there are several trails at walk along the water there enjoy it it's a great Park
Trail goes through out downtown Fredericksburg. Maybe four miles.
It's opened by a city employee. If it has rained heavily or the weather isn't good they won't open the park for safety reasons.
Yes- they are in the white building near the parking lot. There are also vending machines there.
Just be very careful and safe. Not sure if it is closed or not.
I agree with everyone else, I've swum in it and if water got in my mouth i wouldn't intentionally swallow it, but I'm not gonna freak about it, it's not standing water.
