Lovely little park with plenty of parking. Most evenings there's some sort of organized sports. Fields hockey or soccer.

If you live in the City of Fredericksburg. Then it is free.
No need to register in advance. You can pay the gate. We went on a Saturday and it was $8 per adult and $6 per child (I believe ages 2-17). We were told you only needed to show ID if you said your zip code is 22401.
Free for 22401 zip code, other wise it is $8 for adults 18-54, kids 3-17 $6, kids 2 & under are free, & 55 & older are $6
The park? Nothing. The pool is closed for the whole summer :/

No, it's the same pool. They open the Soggy Dog day/pool up on the last day the pool is open just for the dogs. There's plenty of room for lots of dogs. Hope this helps.
