I never write reviews but was compelled to write this one because of the horrible treatment my family received at this restaurant from one of the managers. My mom took my grandparents and I here for a special occasion since I was in town for a visit and don't get to see them often. She had 2 gift cards and a gift certificate that she planned to use. She had called ahead to make sure it was okay to use the gift certificate since it was very old and was told "they never expire" - she even told them that this was not a gift card and was a paper certificate and they still said that was fine. At the time of payment, we were told by the waitress we could not use it and my mom explained that she had called ahead. The waitress brought over a manager who argued with my mom and asked who she talked to. My mom didn't have the name, so he asked if it was a man or a woman and when my mom said "woman", he said "Yeah, definitely not a manager then." It was extremely rude and dismissive, and he blamed my mom for not knowing to speak to a manager when his employees should know to escalate that kind of question if it needs a manager’s approval. He then tried to dismiss the issue again by saying "these used to be promotional $25 gift certificates we used to hand out for free". This was for $100 and was paid for by a family friend. This was also after he admitted to being in high school when this certificate was issued and never seeing anything like it, so how would he know if it was promotional or not? After that, he commented that the edges are perforated and that we had probably already used it because he could “see a tear”. Essentially insinuating that my family was trying to rip him off and lying. Again, this was after admitting he had never seen.a certificate this old, so how would he know what the perforations were for? They most likely batch printed them and tore them off, but before we could talk to him, he walked away. It was disgusting the way he treated my mother and argued with her on every point. At the end of the exchange, my mom had tears in her eyes. He did issue the credit at the end, but it was so embarrassing for her and she felt completely belittled in front of our family. It was the worst treatment I’ve ever witnessed from an establishment to a customer. It completely ruined our last night together and I will not be returning.

Wow. I recently planned a wedding rehearsal dinner that doubled in size shortly before the event. Alix stepped it up and made it happen. Several guests had celiac and other allergies. Not a problem, the fantastic chef and pastry chef adjusted menus and created one of the best GF AND DF chocolate cakes I've ever had. The salmon entree is a must-have. Excellent, attentive gracious waitstaff was the icing on a beautiful meal and event. Heads up, this restaurant shares an entrance with a movie theatre. No worries, take the elevator to your right or go up the escalators to the second floor. Enjoy this slice of heaven, called the wine room.

We went to Davio’s for a post-Christmas dinner. This was our splurge meal for the year and it did not disappoint. The food was cooked to perfection and the added bonus of the caramelized onions on the side with the steak was a pleasant surprise. We had the meatball appetizer as suggested by our waiter and it was delicious. The table service was quick and efficient. Overall, I would definitely frequent Davio’s again.

While waiting to see a movie I came in for a quick beer and some bites to eat! I had the chicken sliders, pictured in my photo!I'd say they were pretty good and the beer selection is above average!
