This is a good spot for taking pictures, feeding ducks, or walking your dog. There's always people, but it usually isn't crowded. It stays pretty clean here and I've never seen homeless people when I've been here.

Wonderful place, I just wish it was safer. Too many shootings.

Great park. Labor Day Lift Off is a cool experience.

This park which includes Prospect Lake has it all! Basketball Courts, Fishing, Hiking Trails, Picnic Tables, Playground, Pool - Indoor, Soccer Field(s), Tennis Court(s). Also has a beautiful Memorial to all Service men and women. Beautiful views of the mountain including Pikes Peak. There are alot of geese here and their droppings are everywhere. The park is home to many events including Labor Day Lift Off which was this past weekend.

Yes. They require "on a leash" but many people with well behaving dogs are not.
Yes but I would aviod the south end of the park it can have criminal activities. Otherwise it's a nice park for fishing, walking and picnicking.
Just Tennis, iceskating and roller skating
Where they came from hopefully.
You can kayak on the lake without out a permit but there are often power boats on the lake that cause significant wakes so just be aware.
I was there today. The volleyball area does not have lights.
I've seen people get barefooted and kind of waiting but like you said they have a beach areas but it's been closed because of remodeling and it's more of a pain than a lake there's no outlet for the water it just comes in so it's pretty Massey people Skeeter paddle boats
The city manages the park. Call the office of recreation at the city or go to city's website.

No it's free unless you go to the pool or the next ice rink. It's a huge park with a few extra attractions. 👌👍
And
In general, the closer you are, the better the view. You can see them fine up to two miles. Downtown tends to have buildings block the view, other than that, you can see pretty well and take pictures in any of the parking lots on Pikes Peak or Printer's Pkwy.
I am not sure
There aren't any in any parks in Colorado Springs you gotta bring your own it's bullsh*t I know but it is what it is
As long as they are watched
1 mile
Last I heard was cancelled
On top of Pikes Peak at midnight. A lot of times not visible if cloudy
Just wondering why you would want a large TV there but it is a park so I guess you could have a tv there
People are supposed to swim in the designated area at the bath house, but I have seen people and dogs swim on the south west side of the lake all the time. Police walk the loop . I have never seen them stop them even though there are no swimming signs posted.
It might be
No burning. There's a fire ban right now
Sure, it's a really beautiful area and people tend to have picnics and dates by the water. It's also a spectacular moment on the 4th of July watching the fireworks show.
Yea kids are always playing on the edge lots of people fish several playgrounds sidewalks all the way around the lake
Yes fishing is good, different species of fish, trout, walleye, wiper, catfish, crappie, at this time i believe the lake is frozen, good luck man, and they stock the lake 4 times a year
Call the city hall and or go online to check city regulations concerning that.
I haven't seen any and I walk every day at this park
Yes! If you get there just before 7am OR 7pm...you are more likely to catch a few trout!!
