I like the recliner chairs and the option to have food and drinks delivered to your seat at the start of the movie. There is ample parking and the theaters and restroom has always been clean.

I live 2 minutes from this theater but I've watched movies here for years because of the matinee prices. It's smaller but still updated with the recliners so it's perfect. I only go during matinees and early birds so that's all I can speak to but there's never huge crowds (even on big release weekends), it's always clean and the staff is always friendly.

Such a clean theater. The ticketing process was quick and friendly. The concession area was clean and the line moved quickly. This is definitely the theater we are going to make our preferred theater.

This place is fantastic! My friends and I go to the movies almost every other weekend and we’ve been to almost every movie theatre in The Columbus area. This theatre by far is the best one. There is always someone around to help and everyone is super friendly. They also have a device that enables you to buy a ticket online and receive it by a QR scan so you won’t have to come in contact with anyone. Also in the theatre rooms they have comfy recliners so you can sit back relax and watch the movie. If you plan on seeing a movie I do recommend Cinemark Carriage Place Movies 12.

I used to go to the theater to catch second run movies that I'd missed. The seats weren't as nice, but I could easily catch up on films that I wanted to see. There are first run theaters much closer to my home with recliners. So if Cinemark goes with first run movies and higher prices, I doubt that I'll ever go there again. Columbus already has LOTS of first run movie theaters. Giving up their lock on second run movies to try to compete in a saturated first run movie market does not seem very smart.
No reason to visit now. We came from Polaris area. With 4 kids... it's was the only place that was reasonable to see movies. Sad. However, I hope they succeed. But if they don't. .. I'll be one of the first ones back.
They are now a first run movie theater. They have all new recliners and yes the prices did go up, but they are still considerably cheaper than other theaters. The matinee is 4.99 and general admission is 7.99. At AMC you're paying 8 for matinee and 12 for gen admin. It is still worth it. Just saying
AMC does the same thing with their app and you can earn points to get $5 gift cards so no point
The remodel is so nice, give it another shot! Prices are higher than before of course but if you do before 6 PM, it's still only 5 bucks, including weekends
Last I checked $5 or so, but you should check their website first r exact pricing.
That's because it will now be a first run theater with first run prices. Goodbye family outings!
You are wrong about that. People have lost interest in action movies, comic book movies and children's movies in 3d. Cinemark has done a great disservice to the area. Families can no longer afford to see a movie together. My daughter and I saw many movies at Carriage Place. I don't see that happening much anymore. But this is not all about increasing ticket prices. Cinemark will make much more when they add alcohol and food sales. Neither of these appeal to the numerous young people that patronized the theater. There is a market in Columbus for a discount cinema. Perhaps someone else will step in.
Hello. I believe the Palace theater is to be broadcast. Hope this helps. Have a great day!
Yes
It is currently re opened, yet it's times are limited. The website will have the days, times, and showings.
It depends on day and time you go. I would recommend looking at the website.
No
Why did they put seats that were meant for a level surface on a floor with a grade??? Sit down and your leaning forward lean back all the way and now finally sitting upright? Some jackass thought that was a good way to save money like no one will notice!
Matinee is 4.99 now I believe. People are sh*tting a brick over it. Still cheaper than anywhere else.
You have steps going to your seats but they have handicap area too at least to the one I been too
No more 5$ tickets; now they changed to 5.25$ (small difference). It's any time during Tuesdays and every day until 5 pm (not 6 pm that T Brown mentioned). There are examples of movies though that are more expensive even during the aforementioned time-frames (this is rare though and I haven't figured out the pattern yet).
Look in the Showtimes section
Yes, but good luck getting a decent seat if it's a popular movie.
Please be aware that you are asking questions to the crowd. Cinemark does offer senior discounts on Mondays.
