The gardens here are beautiful with lots of areas to explore. There are gorgeous art pieces throughout the garden and there's a nice restaurant that serves great refreshments, including adult beverages. There is even a children's garden with a splash pad and a water painting area. They do offer manual and electric wheelchairs, but do not offer strollers. Overall, it was very fun experience and would definitely return to experience it again.

Beautiful and peaceful gardens. The flowers are so beautiful and the whole grounds are amazing. There is a lot to see there such as a forest you can walk through, tree top canopy walk, indoor greenhouses, and a restaurant. You need to go on the canopy walk because it’s very fun and has great views of the forest around there. It also leads to some more gardens. There is super cool artwork too which is metal that looks like paper origami. The greenhouses are unique too and there are so many different plants in there. They also had a snack bar so when it’s hot out you can buy water and popsicles too. This place is a must if you’re going to Atlanta and you like gardens.

We went to the garden to see a new art installation by artists we met at our B&B. We were so impressed with this garden. Tickets for two adults run $50, but you can get a membership for $105. The membership gets you access to 345 other gardens across the country in addition to discounts in the gift shop, restaurant, and a few other perks. Definitely worth it! We walked through for 90 minutes and didn't see everything thoroughly. We could definitely stay much longer if we sit, relax, meditate, etc. I appreciate their investment in art. This display, Origami in the Garden, will be there for 6 months (starting May 2022). The artists are from Santa Fe and are a fabulous couple. I will always stop by the garden now when traveling to Atlanta. It is inside of Piedmont Park in midtown and the surrounding area is great and very walkable.

This was a beautiful botanical garden. It has lots of variety and have lots of cool exhibits in each area of the garden. You could spend hours here and still not explore everything. I liked the greenhouses where they housed various tropical and desert plants. The only drawback is that it does get busy and you will be fighting through the crowds to enjoy the scenery.

Only once a year at Reindog Parade https://atlantabg.org/learn/kids-programs/reindog-parade
Yes, its easy to have a professional photographer there, without looking too obvious as well.
Yes!!! Beautiful and completely out of the ordinary, is like out of space. Awsome experience
Adults $ 21.95, children between 3-12 $ 18.95. can be purchased online atlantabg.org
Day Pass: $22 Adult, $14 Child (3 and below free, as mentioned above) Membership: $109, when purchased at the gate, also comes with two free "day passes" to give to whomever you please. The membership supplies two members with cards, each card allowing two people through the gates. I am not sure if it possible to share cards, or "lend" to another. In addition, the staff member that was working when we purchased the memberships told us the passes are tax deductible. I have not yet confirmed that, but could see its validity if proceeds are used in a certain way.
I would suppose that early summer would be the best time to go to the gardens.
I did not notice a picnic area. They have a snack bar so I would guess outside food is not welcome.
Highly recommend. There were many people waiting outside for the time they could schedule once there.
No, you would have to pay admission to the gardens. However, photos taken at Piedmont Park right next to the gardens would be free.
It was about $35.00 for the event price. Here are general admission pricing Atlanta Garden Daytime Admission Adult $21.95 Child ages 3-12 $18.95 Child under 3 Free Garden member Free
Yes it should be open but call them and check
Of course, they actually have electric wheelchairs on-site for their guest if needed.
Haven’t seen anything like that at the entrance building.
Closest Marta station is Arts Center station
Weekday Admission (Tuesday - Friday) Adult $22.95* Adult FLEX $27.95* Adult FLEX+ $44.95* Child (ages 3-12) $19.95* Child FLEX $24.95* Child FLEX+ $41.95* Child under 3 Free Garden member Free
Most likely. But for more security you can visit their website, there you can find the information. Lucky!
Yes 10 for parking but we were blessed someone a head of us paid for the next car and we just happened to be the next car. Lol so blessed. It was a blessed Christmas time.
I went March 26th, sadly still under construction. But don't let that be a deciding factor. EVERYTHING IS BLOOMING....! So beautiful.
I think it would be better if you plan around mid-April. They are running reconstruction and I think they are targeting a larger opening for summer. So, I suggest you postpone until April or even May.
Open to the public for the light show from 5pm until 11pm. You have to reserve your tickets through the website.
Chairs yes, I didn't see any scooters during my visit.
Yes restaurant is open with outside seats
It's open but you need to wear your mask and social distance
We were there yesterday and didn't see it
If of course you can take a camera, a telephone, whatever you can, it is a truly photo-worthy site, all beautiful
According to their website (https://atlantabg.org/) The Alice in Wonderland topiaries will be there until November 1st.
Hi Rachlle, You ask a very good question! My short answer is, "I don't know". And since I did a little digging (sharing with you what I found below, hope its useful), I would recommend calling them. Given our national parks have decided tapping some photography would be a good source for additional funds, some municipalities have decided to follow too, and other botanical gardens (see link to Ozarks Botanical Gardens below)....one may experience ABG would do the same. https://www.bgozarks.org/rent/photo-permit/ I can't speak for Atlanta Botanical Gardens, but in searching the atlantabg.org website for a section on photo permits and found nothing. Here's another link for reference: https://www.photoattorney.com/permit-required-photography-public-lands/
Yes I believe so.
You can buy them at the gate
We leisurely walked the pathways to take in the beauty of the art forms that were created by artists. We stayed about an hour or more and we didn't see the other side of the gardens. Now we have another trip to take in the beauty of the other side. So my answer is that it's up to you. We took pictures, sat on the benches and took our time. But plan at least an hour and wear comfortable shoes 😎🦋
It really doesn't matter but it helps to get the line moving
Rules are no outside food. They do not check bags and are not actively enforcing. So with a little discretion you should be fine. I don't know how reentry works, but a picnic in the park which is right there too may be a good option.
Age 12 and up: $21.95 US Age 3-12: $18.95 US. Children under 3: Free
Yes a no d they have a children's area. Might take a stroller for the 4 year old. Lots of walking.
It's Ok everyone Is Welcome You Will Love It
You can walk through much of stone mountain for free. The trail around the mountain hiking up and down the mountain for free. You can get dropped off or find a parking spot at Stone mountain village for free.the laser light show at night is free. If you want to park inside the Park then you must pay for parking.
Only service animals with proper ID and that meet the age requirement of at least 1 year old.
Yes, they can be rented at the ticket window. Scooters are offered to limit four hour rental.
What the other answers state is correct. Here is a link directly to their events page. https://atlantabg.org/visit/events/cocktails-in-the-garden
At any time. You can spend the entire day
Wheelchairs are complementary and scooters are $25 for a 4 hour period
Garden members and children under 3 are free. Adult tickets are about $22 and children 3 to 12 $16.
Hi Stacy, Yes, their hours should be the regular April hours. According to their website, only Christmas and Thanksgiving hours are different!
Yes, it will be open. And it is an absolutely wonderful place to take your family. You can pack lunch and take chairs if you wish
There's no butterfly room but in the conservatory (greenhouse) there are many animals living there, including butterflies and other insects, some birds, reptiles and amphibians in their natural habitats. But since they hide well in the folliage it is very hard to see them, but they are there, including some butterflies.
Bring an umbrella. They have a few indoor exhibits but the majority is outside.
If you buy online yes. You can purchase at gate, more expensive.
I went with a veteran, and they received a discount, it was during the day visit.
As of the moment, about $22 for an adult. But see their website for all details.
Alice is no longer there
Yes with id
No skateboards and you need reservations ahead of time. You can make them online via their website
No skateboards, many of the walks are mulch anyway. We just walked in and got in.
They do not have signs or metal detection to go through. I suppose if you conceal it wouldnt be an issue. I never once felt like i needed any sort of protection.
If you are asking if wheelchairs are available, we were just there and I didn't see any wheelchairs or kiddie wagons for "rent". Im fairly certain that with COVID, you would have to bring your own.
Walking is a must, but, elevators are available and the place is wheelchair accessible.
The average temperature is 57 .... Otherwise it is according to the time of the Year
A lot of local and exotic plants. Love the tropic plant area. They have a restaurant called LongLeaf which is busy and it seems really good...the food smelled good from the outside lol. They also have a small snack bar that has descent priced items. The Earth Goddess is the main thing.. But she wasnt ready lol
We prepaid paid 22.95 on a Monday evening ... https://atlantabg.org/tickets/
The best time is probably during the weekdays in the midmorning time frame (M-F, 10-3p).
You will have to call. Sometimes they have private parties.
Plenty of space to spread out. There are areas, like the orchid building and the gift shop, that you might want to use caution but I can't see a situation where you'd be cornered anywhere. We are COVID-cautious and visited in early January. I'd have no problem going back there again tomorrow. If you are okay walking through a Target parking lot during peak hours, you'll be great here.
To be able to enter the garden with a pet you have to have a permit, from what I have seen
There is not a lot you can touch, but you can smell it all when it's blooming.
In the place they sell them even in the parking lot where the address takes it
I think it goes until the middle of January.
No, you need to get a special ticket for the lights.
Evening. The holiday lights are much better to see at night as opposed to the day.
Be sure to check the website, as it depends on the day of the week. Days closer to Christmas have higher prices.
Through Jan 16th, 2021 (atlantabg.org)
Depends on the person. There are benches throughout to sit and take a break. In general everything is paved and either flat or with very gentle incline. A few sections have either stairs or gravel.
The Holiday Lights isn't a tour. You're free to go where you want and spend as much time as you'd like. Some areas are closed off.
Tickets can be bought online and are cheaper, the city of Atlanta has an advantage that you can buy a city pass, and you can enter 5 pre-established places for only 77 dollars
I recently went on 10/24/2020 and I paid $21.95 for an adult ticket and $18.95 for a child ticket (plus $5.00 processing fee). Kids under 3 years old were FREE. I paid $7 for parking in the parking deck, but the rate depends on how long you were parked. I was there from around 1:50pm until 5:30pm. It's best to purchase your tickets online because they do use time slots, as mentioned in someone else's answer, for admissions into the garden. If you arrive outside of the time indicated on your ticket, you're still allowed in. NOTE: I NOTICED THAT THE PROCESSING FEE VARIES. WHEN I PURCHASED (1) TICKET, THE FEE WAS $8. WHEN I PURCHASED (2) TICKETS, THE FEE WAS $5. HAVE FUN!!!
If you are talking about the Christmas lights at the Botanical Gardens, no outside food/drink is allowed.
I'm not sure. Check their website. I
Very great time of the year to go.
You have to order the ticket in person or online. They sold out real quick. It's worth it to have a family outdoor gathering. They have a restaurant too.
Recomended to purchase in advance. But you can always pirchase at entrance
No, like previous post mentions. Reserve your days online...
No they are only doing walk up timed tickets for the time being.
Yes it's in the glass house
Vou can show up and buy tickets but if maximum head count is already inside may have to wait til someone leaves or the next time slot is open.
25 dollars. You have to choose the time and date when you buy it online. They do not accept purchases on the same site.
I believe they close at 5
Ticket prices can be found online, I believe they were about $21 USD
22 adult 18 kid's
It is open on Sundays but there is gate that was closed and we had to go to the entrance where you had to get a ticket for parking before entering the garden.
I didn't see any around that day!

It is $21.95 per adult at the gate and there is a parking fee as well. It is worth every penny.

We went Friday night. We had to park in the overflow and use the shuttle, so that added about 15-20 minutes. But they dropped us off right at a gate with no line. We got right in.
Yes, it will still be on display until January 11, 2020

Yes, regular price around 26.99 With 3D glasses it 34.99 After 9pm its half prices around 16.99 regular 29 with 3D glasses

I beleive you are referring to the 24.95$ package which includes hologram glasses, and a spiked beverage/wine/beer at the garden bar. Regular admission is 21.95$.
Depends on the volume of people that day. I don't know if they accommodate Will - Call
Go to the website for the schedule details and pricing. https://atlantabg.org/plan-your-visit/atlanta-garden-calendar/garden-lights-holiday-nights/
Sorry Everardo. I only speak/understand English. If you are asking about prices, parking was $10 and entrance was $38 after 5pm. You will enjoy it.
Phone them
I was allowed to park a 16 passenger VAN in the delivery spot ( after 6pm ) which just happened to be available. Their are other (somewhat limited) spaces available. You should be OK.
Electronic should be fine. Can also buy at the front before entering.
Yes they have a Christmas/holiday themed garden with wine/beer, payed parking and there are several cute photo ops
You pay for parking after you leave. We stayed 5 hour paid $9.00. For parking.
Yes. There is a restaurant in the garden. For more info, check this link https://atlanta.eater.com/platform/amp/2016/5/2/11531786/lintons-atlanta-botanical-garden-linton-hopkins
I would definitely call and ask. The only on location parking I saw was a parking garage.
Same time as the operation hours of the Botanical Garden
$21.95 for adults, $18.95 for ages 3-12, free for under 3
Parking is extra. Per hour.
No. It's too beautiful to be cluttered and messy with luggage.
Adult$21.95*Child ages 3-12$18.95*Child under 3FreeGarden memberFree
They have a lot and parking deck. It did have a cost, I don't recall the price. It was a decent sized parking deck, but I could see it being full at peak times.
I'm not sure of that but it's highly possible they would be open.
It was great as it has been for a long time.
There are greenhouses. One of them is very cool and one is very hot. There is also a restaurant on site. A lot of the garden is shaded and shouldn't be too bad. I went yesterday when it was just as hot. It was busy. Honestly, I am glad that we decided to brave the heat. You should too.
You can just show up and get tickets at the front office when you arrive. Tickets for adults are $21.95 and $18.95 for children 3-12.
Yes. First come, first served. Not guaranteed to be available.
Yes, it's about $22. You can check on Groupon too if they have any deals going. The Alice in wonderland exhibit is really cool. https://atlantabg.org/tickets/

It's not guaranteed but there is the ticket booth, information booth or the gift shop. You can call and ask ahead before you plan to go. The staff are very friendly there.
I'm sorry I don't speak Spanish.
Adult $21.95* Child ages 3-12 $18.95* Child under 3 Free Garden member Free These prices are before sales tax.
No senior discount but maybe you can try from AAA or AARP
Here are the prices posted on their website - Adult: $21.95 Child ages 3-12: $18.95 Child under 3: Free Garden member: Free
I believe so...they are really accepting of things like that. Congrats to the senior!
Yes you can
Go online for event ticket prices. Parking is around $5.
I think a day cost $23-25 for adults, you can be there from open to close, can take a picnic lunch... senior citizen, students, and children are less...if you have a family (2 adults and up to 4 children) family membership may work for you. I think it's regularly $120, but it's for a whole year 😊
Unsure, I suggest checking on their website.
Adult: $23.95 Child ages 3-12: $20.95 Child under 3: Free Garden member: Free
There are snack bars and restaurants at the garden.
The lights show are outdoors and if rain falls it will be affected. Check the weather before you go. It is a wonderful experience
I believe it's $29.95 if you're a member, $34.95 if not. $5 more if you'd like the 3D glasses experience. Their website should have more info.
There is no drive through. It's big garden. You can bring your own cart and move in the garden. For cars pay and park available. Elevator facility at each car park stack.
According to me there is no age bar. The Garden is open up to 11pm.
I do not think so because it is pedestrian only
The difference is price, based on calendar date. There are also reduced prices if you buy after 9pm the day of, or are a member.
During the week is always less crowded. But the nights at light are terrific. How about arrive just after a late lunch and stay a few hours after dark? Check the calendar for timing of events in the evening. Should be fun! Food is expensive, just FYI.
On the website you have to check specific dates and times and select premium or general. Great question! It's a complicated answer. Ranging from 25 to 37 as listed above.
It closes the flower observation at 5pm and reopens at 5pm when they have other events planned for the night, like cocktails in the garden as of this month they are doing a light show. I highly recommend going you won't be disappointed.
Yes, a few in the gift shop, as well as some seeds.
There is wheelchair accessibility. You ...however are responsible to provide your own wheelchair. Please contact ABG for more info as I am not employed with ABG. Enjoy your visit.
Prices depend on the day and what time of the day or night you would like to attend.
You will have to call the gardens
They have them there. If going on a busy day I'd call to see if you could reserve. Motorized costs $$ to rent.
It's reasonably priced, $20-$30 depending on what you're looking for/at.....
https://atlantabg.org/visit/tickets
You can't ride in the Garden, but you can ride around Piedmont park and the Beltline.

They have annual passes that you can buy, but no single admission discounts that I am aware of.
$20 dollar range. I have an annual pass, but I am pretty sure it's around $20
You can walk around with your alcoholic beverage when they have cocktails in the garden which are on Thursdays 530pm-930pm
No
Can be purchased and used right away. The only restrictions I see is if you are purchasing ticket online it has to be at least 1 day in advance.
No, Adult$21.95 Child ages 3 to 12$18.95 Child under 3 free
Great place check it out
Yes, the only time you need tickets ahead of time is for after hours events, like the holiday light show. Even members of the gardens need tickets for those type of events...
There is a flat fee of $23 to enter the park. You can give them a call and see if they offer something for you. I don't believe they do, they don't even offer discount for students... But you can always double check.
I think it was $ 23.00 in total
Memeberships are tax deductible, some are even 100%. Check the website, as they have a breakdown of how much each membership level is tax deductible.
The W Atlanta is the closest on 14th St. There are several more, but mostly in higher price range. Stay farther out and take Uber.
It depends on what you want to do. I've been there anywhere from 1 hour (just to look at the flowers) to about 3 hours (walking on some of the trails).
Get off at Midtown Station. Walk east along 10th St for about a quarter mile and walk north along Piedmont for about three quarters of a mile.
Not free to get I buy free to take pictures.
It's $21.95 for adults and I think $15.95 for 3 to 12 yr olds. But the pass was $105 I think, which also gives you for guest passes
There is no exact time but if you do to the booth they can tel you or you can just call them
I would recommend using an app called Google Maps to be able to get to the correct route.
Park at the garden. You could park at the piedmont oark public parking but it will be a ling walk. Garden parking is not expensive .
Tulips usually bloom in the spring. However some tulips bloom earlier and some have bloomed right now. If you are looking for tulips I recommend coming during Spring.
No, unfortunately there is only a standard adult price listed, and they specifically mention there is not a discount on memberships either.
Garden lights "show" or effects start at 5, but you can go beforehand. It's beautiful to walk the gardens in the daytime then retrace your path after the sun goes down.
Yes they open until 10. Once u are in there you can take your time even if it's past 10 already
I used my phone for the tickets. I am not a member and it was not a problem.
The Atlanta Botanical website list in detail the dates and times for Holiday hours. The prices for children and adults are also listed.
Christmas Camellia Cobb's Dendrochilum Guzmania jaramilloi Huntleya wallisii Linden Viburnum Swan Orchid
Depends on the time of the year. Early spring was full of tulips and other bulb flowers in bloom. Around May, as I remember, was full of roses. There are different ones. I think it was in November the Camelias were in bloom. Always something to see. Check online for the orchid exhibit, it is impressive.
They do have ongoing art classes, and they have culinary demonstration from the edible garden, they have a childrens garden thats informative, and they have a lab for horticultural advances. I do not know to what qualifies, but donations would be excepted, and you could designate it for educational purposes
Wear bug spray!
Yes. You can park on the street for free or on the deck.. price vary per event. On a regular day it's $2 for 1st hour and additional $1 for every 1/2 hr after.
Adult = $21.95 + Tax - Child ages 3 to 12 = $15.95 + Tax Child under 3 = Free Garden member = Free
