Depends on the time of the year. Early spring was full of tulips and other bulb flowers in bloom. Around May, as I remember, was full of roses. There are different ones. I think it was in November the Camelias were in bloom. Always something to see. Check online for the orchid exhibit, it is impressive.
The greenhouses are beautiful and was really nice. I wanted a little more within the park. More flower/bloom. It is a relaxing place to go.
There are different areas. There is a wooded area with minimal flowers but many plants. There is a section for fruits and vegetables. Personally, the real attraction are their greenhouses which imitate different climates and their flora. I wouldn't describe it as purely a flower garden.
