I would suppose that early summer would be the best time to go to the gardens.
All seasons have something special! The garden lights now are spectactular!!
The best season to go is during the summer
We go often and I like spring and fall. I like that it is a cooler temperature, much more enjoyable. There are special exhibits around the year. The orchid exhibit in early spring is magnificent, and as others have pointed out, the Christmas lights are spectacular. I will suggest you check the weather in Atlanta and pick a day when it is not raining and also check the hours before buying to make sure it works with your schedule. Also check online specials, and buy your ticket online.
Is there anything in bloom in late Feb., that's when I'll be there?
Any season. Early spring to see new growth and spring flowers, fall for color and flowers, in winter the conservatory...it is all good.
I would say maybe three weeks after the last frost so that you are able to see the dozens of tulips. Early-mid spring as well.
Thank you for your advice
Do you have a butterfly garden?
So, as Tom McManus says get the ticket with the glasses, and 1 drink, in the summer, best time to go and best deal..... THANKS TOM!!! 💖
