My father passed away on the morning of July 7 of this year. I found him unconscious on the floor and called 911 immediately. Response time was 2 minutes or less. The officers were extremely kind and helpful! I was physically shaking and one of the officers stayed with me. She even asked about my family and wanted to see pictures of my dad. I can’t say enough positive things about the Leawood police department!!!!

Don't drive through leawood from KCMO. They are border patrol to keep property values high in Johnson county

I had a great experience with this department after going through an identity theft case. These guys explained to me the procedures involved in a theft identity and filed my report to the local office. i am very grateful for the help and action they took for me.

Honestly these guys have pulled me over and given me tickets. Out of all the times I've had interactions with cops these guys are the best. They are understanding and courteous. While doing their job. I believe other countys could learn from their example. When I went to court I had my children who are young with me. The cops there were so kind to them. They even tried to help distract my children while we waited. No one likes getting tickets but honestly I feel so much safer in leawood getting pulled over then any other county. I know these guys are just doing their job and they are awesome at it. Please keep up the good work you guys. The people need more cops like you.
