My mom has lived at Colonial Oaks for over a year. We have been pleased with her care and the help she receives from the staff. She is loving the new culinary team and says that she might be gaining a few pounds because the food is so good. They are currently remodeling the community and it is really looking good. Staffing challenges continue to plague many businesses, but I appreciate the communication and work that the team there has put into finding caring employees in this difficult environment.

First off I work here. When coming to work I saw one of the residents that I knew at the other place I worked. She looked fantastic. Colonial Oaks just loved her back to good health. We are a small place and it has a homey feel to it. Our Director of Nursing has been here along time and is one of the most caring and warm person I know. This is a good landing spot for your loved one.

I moved my mother into Colonial Oaks several months ago. I am extremely impressed with the administrative /managing staff as well as the nursing staff. Everyone who works at the facility has been positive and helpful to both me and my mother. The personalized care they provide my mother is outstanding. I have some experience with other assisted facilities and I cannot say how happy and grateful I am that I found Colonial Oaks at Leawood. They have totally been a god send in the life of my mother. We moved my mother in a month ago. The transition was hard for her at first, but everyone at Colonial Oaks were so nice! My mother loves how nice all the staff is to her. She loves living there now.
