The Art Shack is one of the very few places where I can freely create, learn, and share my creative work. It is a place for growth and creation. I worked with the wonderful and supportive Art Shack staff and was able to put together a portfolio for high school, and later get into all 5 schools I applied to. I can say with great confidence that The Art Shack has changed the way I view art, and the way I think. I am forever greatful for them opening so many doors for me, and I've completed countless hours of volunteer work to repay the favor.Now that I am getting older, The Art Shack has also employed me to work during special events (birthday parties, fairs, workshops). When you are at the Art Shack, you are constantly surrounded by creativity. This environment is my favorite thing about the Art Shack. When you are surrounded by different kids, different culture, different ways of thinking- the way you think and create becomes more open-minded and evolved.
