company does not honor their own policy. staff clueless about rules... i needed to extend my rent for a few days due to covid. the company instead of keeping the same rate jacked the price up so my expenses increased more than 50%. that is the opposite of what the company's website claims as payless policy and industry practive. i was forced to drive to the airport while with covid and fever to return the car and get another one from a competitor. i fell thia was disrespectull with the client and your own employees. a big NO to rent with payless again. doug

I booked with Expedia and was given a final all-in price. When I arrived at the counter the price increased due to “mandatory” fees that the customer service rep was unable to show me was advised of previously. Be very cautious with payless. When my receipt was emailed to me upon return of the vehicle, the mandatory fee is show as an optional service that I accepted. Extreme dishonesty

Great price & better customer service. Payless Car rental will be my choice for my car rentals hands down. My flight was canceled: I had called & spoke with customer service agent and she assumed me it was no problem & it wasn’t. Great from beginning to end.

No, Payless car rental does not accept cash and does not rent with Debit cards. On a regular Credit card "I believe the deposit is between 200. 00 or 250.00, is automatically done by the system. Note: Almost none of the major rent a car company's take cash or debit.
If possible, if you go to the web right there when you make the booking they give you all the info. What if they charge you an extra for leaving it in another place where you took it out.

The battery is likely still physically good since the car is new. The cheapest solution is to buy a $30 battery charger.
