After living for years in Chicago, it was nice to be back for business and to be able to enjoy some deep dish pie just like the old days. I love that their crust is vegan unless you order the butter style. So check the website before you order. I did mine as a tomato pie with veggies and the crust still made my individual pizza amazing and worth the price tag. This location also did a great job delivering to us on site at work downtown, so I highly recommend them both based on the quality of their product and their service. For work we did thin crust and it was cut into little squares and we were provided serving utensils, napkins and plates, which made a company lunch super easy. Lou's always wins the Chicago deep dish battle with me! I have a lot of friends on the other side of this fence, but until they're vegan friendly and offer such great service, I'll be hanging with Lou.

We went to the Michigan Avenue location first which is a tourist heavy area. Since there was a 30 minute wait there, we walked over to this River North location. We walked in and were seated immediately. The service was good and the food was great. We ordered the combo appetizer plate and a Lou Malnati small sausage pizza for the two of us. There is a relaxed vibe here. I highly recommend this location. This is my second time visiting this location with great experiences both times.

You can't come to Chicago and not stop in for the best Deep Dish Pizza in the city. The cheese pull in my picture should tell you all you need to know. We were able to call ahead and reserve a spot while we were walking up to the location, and they had a table ready for us by the time we got there. Great food, good service, cold beer. This is our favorite location (the same can't be said about the Michigan Ave location). We'll always come back.

Service was fast and right on point. Pizza is amazing, the personal size is more than enough for one hungry adult. Good price x good pizza. Better is you reserve your place as most of the time in prime time or weekend there are waiting lists... Especially in downtown branches.

correct
When you arrive, someone will take your name and phone number. They will text you when your table is ready. You can order pizza when you put your name in and they will have it ready for you when your table is ready. Best pizza in Chicago. Enjoy.
Limited customers inside, masks at at times except when eating. Mask has to come on when server is at the table.
Yes, dear friend of Italian pizza
They have enough space on both floors. But little sit down area for waiting.
No, but they do offer smaller "single serve" deep dish.
They don't take reservations. You need to go and put your name down for a table. Suggest you also order your pizza while you wait for your table as well since they take 45+ mins depending on how busy they are.
SMH ... Jimmy Jhon's is hiring also but you need your own bicycle and you gotta be fast
You will need to call the restaurant for that information.
There is a good sized parking lot for the restaurant.
No. But the wait is long. They take your cellphone number and text you when your table is ready. There is a Pink Taco next door where you can have a drink and wait.
Hes a old friend can I get in touch with him
There is only public street parking. This is directly from their website: "If you plan to drive, our restaurant does not have a designated lot, but limited street parking can be found on North Wells Street directly in front of us. There is also a paid valet parking lot directly behind us that is not associated with our restaurant, and a few pay-to-park garages nearby."
What do you mean?
Yeah they do
I usually reserve and pay to park at one of the SP+ garages (pay ahead online - wayyy cheaper) and then walk around to Lou Malnati's and other places
In their allergen section of their website, they do mention offering gluten-free pizza dough.
No, the restaurant itself has no parking. There is street parking, but very small chance of finding one nearby.
Street parking. Hard to find parking spot. Recommend walking or Uber.
