I had the privilege of coordinating a wedding at this venue and the process was smooth. Even while short staffed the venue team was professional, informed, organized, and very helpful. The staff was friendly and communicative throughout the entire night. The venue itself is beautiful and spacious and the groom and bride suites were amazing! Love the fact all my wedding party was able to get dressed together. They have four make up station tables. I highly recommend! 😍

We used the Rustic Barn as our wedding venue as I just couldn't say no to the live wood barn, pond, and the beauty of the property. We live in Wilmington, which has plenty of places for a wedding, but the drive was worth it for this gorgeous place, plus plenty of parking for guests. The venue has a list of preferred venders, but you are able to use your own as long as they're "approved" which as far as I could tell just meant the vender needed to sign a contract with basic requests. In communication with the venue, they can seem stern in their rules, but don't let that turn you off. Being a service provider in the past, people tend to do things they shouldn't and it can turn out bad so they're protecting you and themselves. With that said, they were able to accommodate a few of our personal needs with decor and rental accommodations which was greatly appreciated! We did have a slight bar payment issue that was resolved within 24 hours, but was an inconvenience at the time during the reception. Nobody knew about it but us, so it wasn't obvious to guests or anything. There was a moment when it got really hot in the bridal suite when getting ready and we asked to have the thermostat changed. We were told it was locked and they couldn't so my bridesmaids had to fan me so my makeup didn't sweat when it was being applied. It did eventually get cooler so I don't know if they were able to unlock it or what. Overall, we had a great experience! The tear down was super fast and all of our decorations were neatly packaged and ready to go by the end. Everyone was VERY accommodating. There were a few small hiccups, but I am seriously glad they were so minor and fixable. The day was perfect❤️. I highly recommend this venue!
