Update: over 300 have viewed these photos and over 112 shared it help with their choice not to shop. Quality has deteriorated considerably. I've had shoe soles replaced my whole life and I normally use the Shoe hospital in Vallejo. I thought I would try Dean's based on reviews. What a mistake. Not only did he ruin my dress shoes, he tried to convince me that the 3/4" sole and 1-3/8" boot heel on my dress shoes was normal. I showed him the shoes online and he saw the huge difference, almost twice the thickness. So he agreed to change the sole and heel. I come back two weeks later and nothings different, same sole and heel...BUT again he tries to convince me that he changed the sole and heel...I had photos to prove he's not truthful. I went back to the Shoe Hospital in Vallejo and they repaired Deans very poor craftmanship. The shoe with my hand is the one Dean put the boot soles on, you can see it's twice the thickness of the same brand maker of Ecco Shoes.
