At Baker's Basin, yes but you have to know where.to go. They are only doing certain things there so ask the right questions. They have some weird number thing going.on. They give you a number, then the send you a text that gives you further.instructions. also be aware that the heat isn't helping anyone. They only have a certain amount of numbers they will service in a day so you need to get there early.

I called them a few years back, asking this same question after my license expired (around 2014). I'd heard/thought the MVC gave 2 years after the expiration date to renew it. However (if recalling correctly), they said there was no time limit. The rep also confirmed that, aside from paying the regular driver's license fee, there was no penalty...well, other than not being able to legally drive until renewing. (Note: if the price for renewal has gone up since they mailed your renewal card, you will be required to pay the new/current fee.) Once the license expires, you do have to renew it in person. They may also require a new/updated picture at that point. You'll also need to provide extra documentation to prove your identity since an expired license doesn't count for as many "points" as it does while still valid (see their website for the 6-points documents list, to know which documents they'll need to see/accept). Beyond that, it's like any other renewal. Best of hopes to you!
