No, you don't need to make an appointment. However, you can also renew your driver license via the renew letter motor vehicle sends you. If you still have that letter, you don't need to go there.

No online appointments. They allocate around 200 tokens per day on first come basis. Usually the line starts building from 5:00 am. The center opens at 8:00 am and they start distributing tokens and start sending in batches. Once inside another token is issued and your phone number is noted to send you messages. You will be sent a message once your turn comes, you may have around 30 mins from the time you receive the message that they are ready for you. Once inside it takes approx 1 hr for getting your DL renewed

Honestly. Be there at 5am Anytime later than that won't fetch you an appointment
