Yes. Be there before 8am ... The day I went they stopped giving out tickets by 830 and I didn't get helped until 3pm
I was there by 8am about two weeks ago and was helped by 12pm. The line was ok, but tickets do go fast. I went for license renewal. Spent most of the time waiting in the car in the parking lot. They will get your phone number and text you once your turn is up. I recommend dressing up according to the weather since you still will have to spend some time outside. Good luck!
