I have been twice. Once a maintenance guy opend the door for me and we walked around the outside of the court. Last time this lady ask if we wanted to tour the gym. We got to shoot ball and everything. Beat experience ever!
Not sure if they have public access during the summer. Suggest you contact Duke University. We had access to basketball court and the basketball museum. Both are a must see plus Dean Smith arena at North Carolina.
It's very quaint and can get quite warm at times. But it's a great experience!!!
Duke shop outside stadium or main store off quad
It can get to the point where you cannot hear yourself scream! It is an amazing experience, so much fun!
Yes on ESPN @ noon
I think monday thru Friday its open from 8 to 5. Dont forget to hit the handicapped button.
It's just about perfect as it is. But you make a good point. We need more pollies and actors to come to games.
The court appeared much lighter at tonight's (2-20-19) game. Big change.
J Williams is right. They can be e-mailed.
when it was named for Eddie Cameron, who served at Duke as men's basketball coach from 1928 to 1942, football coach from 1942 to 1945, and athletic director from 1951 to 1972. The arena is located adjacent to its predecessor, Card Gymnasium, which opened in 1930.
Along with all other responses that are accurate, arrive early for parking & walking to the stadium. If the game is at 2, I'd probably arrive nlt 1....an experience you'll never forget!
The Duke Blue Devils' major home-court advantage gets its name from Eddie Cameron, who was a monumental figure in Duke athletics. Not only did Cameron coach the school's basketball team from 1929 to 1949, he also coached the football team from 1942 to 1945, when he won the Sugar Bowl.
