Great place, very reasonable price. Good Trails just minutes in all directions. Very friendly and helpful. Camp ground has water and electric sites.

Have not personally visited the campground but my boyfriend and I had a bizarre encounter with the owner (jojo?) today. We were driving past the campground on our way to the high knob trailhead when we realized that we were being followed closely by a random car. When we got out of the car in the trailhead parking lot, this woman marched out of her car and took a picture of our license plate without saying anything. When we asked her what she was doing, she proceeded to scream at my boyfriend for driving “40 miles per hour” past her business when we were doing 25 at most. She told us that she had 5 signs posted stating that the speed limit was 10mph, but upon our return trip past the campground, we saw exactly 0 signs stating this. This is a public road past her business and I’m not sure she has the jurisdiction to make up unposted speed limits that she then enforces. Unless you are a dedicated equestrian, I would think twice about doing business with her. Completely uncalled for, confusing, and simply strange. Still unsure what she is planning on doing with our license plate photo…

JoJo herself, makes the trip not worth it, you will not be happy, so dont waste your money. I don't care if people thinks she is misunderstood, the woman has issues and a bad track record. GO ELSEWHERE! She also hates the Mule days group, she said it herself, BUT it's what makes her money. Too bad the trails are gorgeous.
