The campground is quiet and secluded and have perfect set-ups for tent campers. Very nice place for people wanting to camp the night after spending the day hiking. The ranger there was kind and helpful. Definitely would go again. I had 1 bar of service at the site at stayed at.

great place to stay...had lots of quite ...no cell service which is good for someone that needs to disconnect..will be going back every yr..

The area is beautiful, the campground is a bit run down. The bathrooms in the RV loop where fenced off, part of the roof was missing. The pavement in each campsite is VERY uneven, so come prepared. Very short walk to the trailhead of Sharp Top, a MUST see if you are here.

Quiet and relaxing campground in October when we went. We will for sure be back! Public use areas such as bathrooms could be a little bit more taken care of.

We paid 20 dollars for our camper and pickup for the night . Nice pull through site we picked out . No electric or water , but dump station is there with water. Very quiet near beatiful roads with deer and bear.
It was a night campground non the less with a lodge right down the road
1 bar with verizon. Sometimes intermittent depending on the weather.

Also, if theres not alot of people there, the camp host will let you park in an empty site. He did for us. Truck was too big to leave with the camper.

There is no gate and nothing is locked. Just make sure to look out for the deer at night.
