We stayed in a cabin and were really disappointed in the condition. It really needed to be redecorated. The carpet was old, stained, and had multiple holes. The kitchen linoleum floor was stained and had holes. There was a hole in the wall of the shower. The futon was old and lumpy. The cushions at the table were old, worn out, and not comfortable. The cabin was clean but really dumpy. This was our first experience with the campground, so we did not get a good first impression. I do want to include the fact that the staff was friendly and helpful.

Our stay here very disappointing. We stayed in a cabin our first night when we showered there was only enough hot water for 2 showers (we had 4 people) and also there was a mother cat and her 2 kittens living under our cabin (we told the ladies at the office about this) during the night the cats played thumping the floor boards of the cabin and waking us up. The night there was a terrible storm that knocked out the power to the entire camp. The second day we had to leave the camp for the day since there was no power, no pools open, and no mini gulf due to flooding. While out of camp we spent money on food and activities that I had not planned on because my plan was to stay in camp and do camp activities. The second night since there was no power we bathed in a bath house and slept in a extremely hot and dark cabin in which the windows would not stay open. Our third day we left right away because there was still no power. We had to throw away all the food we brought with us to cook since it had been in the fridge without power for 2 days. We were not informed that there are severe weather shelters we found these the second night when looking for the bath house. We had to go to the office and ask about the status with the power, ask where we could shower, and ask about areas we can drive to for the day. We felt like we were on our own to figure out an unfortunate and unexpected situation in an unfamiliar place. Lastly it has been over a month since staying here and I am still working on getting my security deposit back. I hope another family does not have the same bad experience we had at Rocky Fork Ranch.

I am updating my previous review. We have been members for about 6-7 years. In 2019 we bought a camper and became seasonal campers. This is when we really found out how this park works. First off, 99% of the staff are very friendly and helpful. If I was only rating staff I would have given a 5 star rating. My first complaint is about the roads. They are horrible, bumpy, and have not been taken care of for years. Three years ago there was an excessively rainily spring and a lot of the roads developed ruts. As of now, they only filled in some with gravel, that washes away with heavy rains. The road to the top hill, and goes to the back to the maintenance shed used to be blacktop. Now it is part blacktop, part dirt and gravel and full of pot holes. We parked our camper initially in January. When we came back in April to open up, the ground under the tongue jack was almost all washed away. They filled it with gravel. Knowing it will wash away, we bumped the front of our camper over about a foot to protect it. My next complaint is the price increases every year that mostly impact seasonal campers. The rate has increased $300 per year and we hear it will go up $400 for next year. We also pay our electric and have to mow our own lots. I don’t have a problem with mowing and paying electric, but the price increases are ridiculous. They offer anywhere from a free week to $1,000 worth of free camping to anyone who comes for their sales pitch. Guess how they can afford that? By gouging the loyal seasonal campers. There are plenty of members complaining that they can’t get reservations or only small lots that their campers are too big for. Just about everyone we meet at the pool or other common areas are people using free nights. Finally, when we bought our membership, we were told it is a members only resort. That is no longer true. Anyone can come in and pay a little more than members and have all the same amenities. They say that the extra fees would amount to paying for maintenance fees. Guess what? Members also paid thousands (we paid almost $20,000 for ours so we could rent cabins out farther and get one of the few really nice cabins) for our memberships. These free campers have no vested interest. A large number of them do not follow rules and are rude, disrespectful, and unsafe. I love camping here. Being seasonal is so convenient when we can only come for weekends and summer vacation due to working. We don’t have to make reservations or set up each time. We bring our clean clothes and food. We also really like our neighbors and have made great friends. Unfortunately, they seem to want us all to leave or turn into weekenders who have to fight to get reservations for the less desirable lots.

So, this is one of our campgrounds we got with our Travel Resorts of America. I'm not sure where to begin. For a weekend it was very quiet but then again it is still spring. The staff are pretty good and did help when asked. We have a 41 foot 5th wheel and the site we were assigned was way up on a hill. Dirt roads and very curvy getting to the site. I was not real happy with the water and electric on one side and the the sewer on the other. The site was nice but Wow... was it crazy to level our camper. Good pressure on the water but I had to double tap the breaker on the box to get the power going. The RV RESORT is very remote and will take a bit to get there. They have a archery range, skeet and pistol/rifle range. There is horse back riding but call in advance to make reservations. They also have paint ball, swimming and a game room but we did not use it. Read some of the other comments. Over all not bad but be prepared and plan ahead. Ask a lot of questions before you decide to book.

Yes but not everything is open. Like the horse back riding and the paint ball area
Yes. Believe they started on Easter weekend.
Open year round from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. the first and last hour adult only
No but if you go on rocket fork ranch site there is a map.
Price varies if member or not as still as different prices on cabins by size.
We have our membership for sale if any one is interested.
I don't believe it is. It is, however, visible from Broadhead road which cuts through the resort.
Not sure. Had not seen any notifications from resort.
Need to call office to be sure what's available.
Golf carts
The tent suites are on the outer perimeter of the camper sites. Throughout the resort.
No. But it's a time share scam . They will try to hard sell you. Not very resort like either....
Either a member or someone they try to sell a membership to.
I don't know if they have a yearly membership. We have a lifetime membership.
They are open
depends if ur a member or not
Check in is at 3 i believe and checkout is 11am
I would call and ask.are u a member? Rates are different depending on cabin, camping,RV sites
They had the junior rodeo there last year
I assume you mean WiFi. As it turns out a decent portions of the sites seem to get WiFi but regardless it's in the main areas.
Like already stated, it's very pet friendly. All they ask is that you pick up after your pets. Select cabins are available for people who want to bring a pet, and all rv/camping locations are available for people who have pets.
Sorry but No you cant.its by membership only.if u know someone that can book you can try that or where they sell memberships you can possibly get a free 2 night stay for checking them out
I saw permanent spots... But I'm not sure if those are grandfathered in, they are a membership campground now... You get so many weeks a year for life and it can be passed down after u pass away... It's expensive to have the membership and yearly/monthly fees. it's very hilly big big ups and downs... Not easy to walk around... People need strong gas golf carts! But u pay a yearly fee for that too..
I have 3 home resorts
We are here now and were charged $300 for 4 nights
Horseback riding is April through October, and I think paintball is year round
Yes! Though it does require it's own membership I don't think it costs anything to use... It's been a little while since I signed the membership form for the range...
So is there no prize
There's a Walmart 30 minutes to the South (Cambridge) and one 30 minutes to the North (New Philadelphia). Plus lots of other nice stores. Both cities have several restaurants. From fast food to nice sit down restaurants.
When i was there i diddnt catch anything but my friend said he caught a crappie.
The one at Bucket Hill has an observation deck , close to indoor pool.
They have crafts, and other things in the off seasons.
