This is one of our favorite RV Resorts in the Country. Plenty of great spots, killer views and the location is amazing. Great hiking trails in the resort and the campground is extremely clean and well run.

Great location. Horrible maintenance. The sites are all muddy and not even close to level. The electric boxes in the sites are down right dangerous. The water is yellow. All of the amenities are run down and in disrepair. The pool is dirty. The mini golf course is falling apart and there are thorny weeds everywhere so you can't safely walk your dog. For how much they charge for a membership you'd think they could do some basic maintenance. A bunch of the camp sites had grass a foot tall though out the site. It's sad. I used to come here in the early 90s with my grandparents. It was beautiful back then. They need to hire a new manager that cares about appeances.

The sites are decent but facilities are atrocious. Really whoever is cleaning the bathrooms needs to be retrained. Gobs of hair everywhere. It rains inside the lodge and it's filthy in there. Every window had a hundred dead flies it was so neglected. Everything about this place seemed neglected. It used to be nice and have a little store and library and pretty landscaping but not so anymore. The location is fun and we made the best of it with the lovely view.

Stayed here over the weekend for a paragliding clinic at Kiwanda. There were plenty of available spaces, although, I'm certain in the summer time, it will be packed. Was able to grab a spot right next to beach trail. Park was quite for the most part. They have a clubhouse and pool but didn't check them out. Also mini putt putt golf course and playground, so plenty to do with the kids. Staff was helpful, they have a locked gate that required a pin code to enter. This is nice, no one is getting in unless they are staying there. Some level sites, some not level. They were having a problem with water supply and everyone was told to BOIL YOUR WATER BEFORE DRINKING. Not a huge problem since this was a weekend trip and we had plenty of water on board. Overall a nice park by the beach.

Thousand Trail members don't have to pay a fee but they can only spend 14-21 consecutive nights in one location. Non Thousand Trails Members pay a fee but I have no idea what it is.
I use the map to find the full hook-up sites. And than Drive up and inspect the site.
