Foremost, Servpro did a great job with their pre-cleaning phase. The customer service and engagement was world-class. So, this post in no way directed at the whole. However, I am currently a client of Carolina Restoration the affiliate sub-prime and I am extremely disappointed with the way things have gone with their efforts toward our project. BLUF: Our insurance company did not refer this company; however, we selected them based on another customers referral. Since the original Project Manager left abruptly, there has been no project management from Carolina restoration, especially with regard to stakeholder management. The incumbent PM has not seen the site once since the transition. As a result, we have endured a very poor paint job, an electrical issue we had to hire someone to fix after they circuit breakers were destroyed, and several other problems. Although, some of the paintwork has been reworked, the problem could have been assuaged much earlier in the project had management been engaged. Adversely, we were out of our home much than originally planned again. To this point, I have no idea what’s next and/or when because of the lack of communication. Meanwhile, the painters have been helpful; however, they aren't management and there is only so much they could do with no Primary. Nevertheless, our experience leaves us feeling shunned, blown-off, and ghosted because of the lack of answered calls, returned calls, unanswered text, or lagging response times. It is not my attention to throw anyone under the bus but rather to show respect, be respected, and treated as your valued customer. So, here we are and there has been NO sign-off, visit back from leadership, or any QA what so ever. Yet I receive a text asking about the check from one of the PMs. Meanwhile, the ceiling upstairs hasn't been looked at, still! I am extremely frustrated. Back story: They redid all of our ceilings by taking the pop-corn off all of them and repainting; however, they painted around some of the light-fixtures. So, when we went to upgrade the lighting with LED lighting... It ripped the paint from the ceiling. Rework? No to mention the popcorn ceiling underneath the light covers because they painted around them. Never heard back from a soul when we called them! They leave messes and don't come back. Not to mention we haven't heard from a single PM in three weeks other to ask "where's the check"! Keeping this check till its fixed! USE THIS COMPANY AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!
