This was the second time using After disaster. The first time I didn’t have any problems. The guys came out and tore my walls, dried the water and replaced the ceilings. Did what they said and didn’t over charge. The second time they came out I am completely dissatisfied. They came out for water damage in my condo. I was told they were going to tear out wall, check for mold, and have an electrician come out because the damage was so severe. They came and placed 3 dryers. That was on for 3 days. Charged me for 8 days and did nothing else. They asked me if my insurance was paying and I said yes so I am assuming that’s why they overcharged. Not realizing I’m responsible for my deductible. They will also call non stop about a payment. I wouldn’t recommend for anyone to use and I personally wouldn’t ever use them again. Very unprofessional and do not care about the customer.

We had a pipe burst in our wall and plumber-who was awesome-that fixed that referred me to Afterdisaster. I regret now I did not use someone else. They were ok at times and terrible at others to work with. I had to demand not to put laminate in my kitchen as the rest of the house was ok for laminate. Their contract installer also cut holes at the bottom in my bathroom and bedroom door frames to accommodate very high 3/4-1 inch transitions (ones previously were like 1/4 inch) and because of that had to replace 3 pre-hung doors because of those choices at $645 cost. The reason why I'm writing this review is that it has been less than a year and the Mohawk laminate product installed by Afterdisaster's contractors' warranties its products for 1 year supposedly and their representative from Afterdisaster has not responded to my inquiry about repairing/replacing kitchen to Living room transition from initial inquiry going back 6 weeks ago-Afterdisaster has apparently gone silent and not responding to my requests at all as last correspondence from them 2 -3 weeks ago was to hear from their Mohawk manufacturer representative of transition product that is less than a year old and starting to peel up. I paid them over $19, 000 and they will not even support or stand behind their manufacturer's product even though the manufacturer may after I call them or even possibly call Jason Stoogenke at WSOC TV to help resolve this. As I said earlier I regret using Afterdisaster and would never recommend them to anyone and wish could give less than 1 star primarily because of the way they do business or neglect their customers even if their product manufacturers warranty still exist!

Dan Feid and his crew did a sloppy job from start to finish. 2 months late past completion, and would not complete final items on this remodel. Claimed it wasn’t in his “scope or work” to have garage door working and provide a certificate of occupancy. Sloppy paint job and did a bad clean up job upon “completion” leaving lots of debri. Not sure if this is the after disaster standard but we are very disappointed. Wouldn’t recommend.
