Overcrowded, expensive, destroys traffic on a busy street. I live incredibly close by. They are consistently closed during posted "open" hours. Recently I showed up at 10pm (11 pm closing time) and the 'in' door was locked and an employee was outside telling people the store was closed. If the hours were incorrectly posted on google or another third party website, it would be one thing. It's also written on the door, however.

So grateful to have this store. Hopefully they will find a way to stay in this neighborhood. It’s pretty obvious they’ve been dealing with lots of issues from hobos, crime to short staffing. It’s sad that the meat department has been closing at 8pm. I work late so I haven’t been able to get fresh meat/seafood for the last few weeks. It’s gonna take a while to get used to it. St. Johns is not the same neighborhood as a few years ago. If this store closes down it will hugely impact the livability of st johns which is already taking a nose dive.

Has nice little outdoor and indoor seating areas, but it sucks in the winter with the automatic doors opening every few seconds blowing cold air in; there's no escaping it. The hot bar's some of New Seasons best, but expensive i.e. Corned Beef and Hot Cabbage bowls are delicious, but my last one was $8.79 and only had three small strips of corn beef) Also, I bought one of their cherry hand pies and it was completely missing the cherry filling inside save for a slim coating. On the plus side the staff's always been super nice at this location. (Not always the case with businesses that describe themselves as 'the friendliest')

a friend brought us some sweets from NS once which prompted me to go myself. of course i went for more baked goods :) got macarons, tea cakes, bon bons, and a slice of banana cake. it was all 10/10 & staff was super nice despite the valentines day chaos. prices are similar-ish to whole foods

I'm not sure what the rules are for if they are an assistant for someone that is disabled. However, if you come in and want to shop with another person they have you take your own cart and go separate ways. So you could split your list and meet back outside.
I honestly don't know but I know if you call they would be happy to check for you. They are a great bunch to deal with
During mid day through the late afternoon they have different foods featured with samples at the northern entry. Near the south entry is coffee bar and you're good for a mini cup of one of the pumped brews. I like to do this and I'm a decaf kid. Cream or soy milk available. Otherwise I see wine offered in late afternoon. Kombucha is offered once in while. Hope that covers it.
Worked for me
Yes
Masks are required. They have those plastic guards at the check out and sanitizer for carts and hands.
Good selection, much better than the Interstate location's fish dept
