A nice unexpected surprise in Northern California, featuring plans that aren't typical for the area. It's a little hidden, and you have to park in the parking lot around the corner - Google maps just takes you to the main street where there is no parking. If you're in the area, it's definitely worth a stop. Also, it has one of the largest Joshua trees I've ever seen!

Beautiful place !! Peace ☮️ no crowd as compared to another parks when we are at afternoon.

It’s always a treat to see what’s in bloom! Highly recommend a visit to admire the vibrant colors and delicate flowers amidst the spikes and spines, and all the shades of green. It’s a favorite of mine.

It’s a great walk on a Saturday morning, not too many people. Beautiful garden, i just think it needs a little maintenance. Thank you.

It should be. It's on the Stanford campus and there's no gates blocking access to it. Enjoy!
I haven't seen any sign asking for a permit.
There's a guy with a van sometimes, but I'm not sure he's selling cacti or something else. All kidding aside I don't think they sell here, just cool plants to see.
