This is must go place if you enjoy museums. Highly intriguing and can easily spend half a day exploring. Gorgeous architecture and truly amazing collections. Very well maintained, welcoming staff.

This is my first writing a review about a museum, and it is my honor dedicate my first review to this prestigious museum. First, I would like to clarify that I am not museum expert nor curator. My understanding to art history is minimal and this review is purely from a typical visitor standpoint. With that said, let me begin to praise how good this place is. First, this place has a Free admission. Yes! You read it right! It is free of charge to visit this museum. This place has all variety kind of artwork and antique, from stoneware from 200BC to modern painting and from eastern ancient calligraphy to western modern sculpture. My favorite one is the Buddha statue from Ming Dynasty in China and the famous New York dining painting by Edward Hoppers. The collection and variety in this place are better than other museum you can find in the bay area. And, they charge a hefty fee for admission (except for certain day of the month for certain resident). So, I was very happy with my visit to the Cantor art center. The parking was easy. What else can I ask for? However, they do require online reservations in advance for admission. No charge, but need reservation.

A really nice art museum with arts from various regions/counties and different forms. I feel like its a hidden gem as it is not very crowded so you can actually enjoy the arts. Its also free - you just need to register online. 4 hour visitor paid parking in the front Monday through Friday and free over the weekend.

Came too late. Didn’t get to visit inside. However, the outside was impressive, too. Had a bless strolling around with my grandson. Parking after 4pm during the weekdays is free. It’s a great alternative over some other popular sometimes overly crowded tourist attractions.

Yes you do. Museum is free but they still are monitoring how many people are allowed in
There is no museum store in Cantor but a cafe. As he said there is a book store in the Campus.
I didn't see any but if you called they can help.
Yes it's still there..
Its closed:( i received an email from them last week . Closed to the public but they were supporting school events. Im sure those events have been cancelled.
No, it's free, and you can go by free bus from Palo Alto to Stanford
Their current Andy Warhol exhibit may not be suitable for children but they won't be stopped from entering. This museum is free.
Their website is generally updated about the exhibits
Yup! There's plenty for art lovers of all taste.
Sculpture garden is just an open area on the side of the museum, there is no gate, anyone can come and go at this area. Therefore, it should remain "open", no matter what time or date, or any weather conditions.
