Watched a water polo game - Stanford vs USC. Not the result we wanted😭. Avery was great, though. Great pool, great spectator experience.

Avery aquatic center is a large, open swim and diving facility on the Stanford campus. The main pool can be configured as either 25 or 50 meter swim lanes. It is not suitable for family swimming, but is perfect for serious lap swimming. The locker rooms are old but fully functional. Swim hours are restricted (go to the Stanford rec site for seasonal details) but the pool is usually open from 10am to 2 pm during the week.

Sheraton Palo Alto and the Westin Palo Alto are probably the two closest hotels. They are a little over a half mile away.

El camino real. The major public roadway has several use zip code 94303. Sorry i do not have names. The garden court is in downtown palo alto and is within 3 miles. It is set in walking distance to food drinks and shopping. Unfortunately all these places can be pricey depending on time of year scheduled Stanford events etc
