My son and I went over Labor Day Weekend. Stephanie and Kate were our guides. Excellent experience all the way thru...as long as you aren't afraid of heights! Must check it out!
Gina McCauley
The tour guides were amazing and the views were great.
Angelica Parra
There are different activities and prices of $25-$120 per person.
Hunter Davis
Had a great time Kate and Stephanie were fantastic guides. 10 outta 10 would recommend

I would say yes, they have different zip lines fast or slow
I paid $96 for the full zip line tour per person, well worth the money.
Very friendly and fun!
Yes you can it's not about the age it's about the wait. Then you have a guide in the front and a guide in the bag to help you if you get stuck in between. But usually that never happens.
The $99 option is well worth it!! 9 zip lines a couple suspension bridges too!
There are a lot of activities to do ~ Plus they may give a group discount ~ They will let you know what is available for your group and you can take it from there
They did say it's not there responsibility for any lost items. But you do have a helmet on so you would have to work that out. But otherwise I think its fine!
There is no admission fee unless you are zip lining. They have a beautiful sitting area with Gorgeous views
Best to make reservations. Go online or call. It took me a week to get in the zip line
No
I would go there or call them to discuss how they could accommodate you. I'm sure they would find a way to make that happen for you! The staff there is really awesome. Do it!!! 😊
I parrot what everyone has said. The staff is very experienced and helpful. Short of removing your own carabiner and jumping off a platform, I can't see how you'd hurt yourself there. The waiver just prevents frivolous lawsuits. If something truly was their fault, even a waiver couldn't stop true litigation
I only did the three-line tour and there was not one there but there's a much larger tour that goes deeper in and also night tours I don't know about those it's possible but I certainly doubt it given the landscape
There is a HoJo, Days Inn, and Comfort Inn 6 miles away. Just search Ocala
Yes i asked. Apparently they do but not all ziplines (8), i believe its 4. OSHA wont allow some due to safety, and to add to the beautiful view zipliners wear glow sticks!
Absolutely, you should plan to visit in labor day
Hi Pamela, Unfortunately, we no longer run the Taste of History Tours. We are working toward coming up with another tour involving wine tasting that might be more popular. Please watch our social media pages and website for updates. zipthecanyons.com
You wouldn't want to have your valuables with you. They will store them for you.
Hi Christine, Yes, we are inspected and certified by the state twice per year. We also must have a state approved engineer inspect the course once a year on top of the state inspections. We perform daily inspections before customers are allowed to enter the course. Florida is very highly regulated in the amusement industry! Please let us know if you have any more questions or concerns!
I did not notice any placed on the property, but Ocala is super dog friendly! Maybe goggle some boarding or doggie day care nearby. Or call the business directly, I’m sure they will be able to help
They have to be at least 70 lbs or they get stuck mid ride
No it's walking and climbing stairs to get to most of the platforms no shuttles.
I'm sorry but, like JD mentioned below, the adventures are not pet friendly especially zip lining and horseback riding. Even with kayaking or tours, the pets would be in contact with our employees as well as other guests and unfortunately, that poses safety and other liability concerns.
Few.weeks ago they said they are all staffed up
You will have gloves on the whole time, but you can take some pictures between rides. Just make sure you can zip up your packet so nothing falls off.
I'm not sure. Look at the website or get contact info from there and email them. They do respond to the emails quickly.
If your child is under 10 but weighs over 70 lbs . are they allowed to do the zip line?
There are no pets allowed, you can bring them to the waiting area but you can't take them with you to zip line or do any activities with them, you're better off leaving them behind.
You can make reservations online, it will tell you their open slots. Depending what time of year you plan to go, I recommend you make reservations ahead of time as it gets booked.
call or go online and schedule a appointment. The staff there will take you to a practice line area where they will show you everything you need to know with braking signaling etc
Google RV parks or camp grounds near Ocala, Florida
No because the lakes are direct below ziplines and you will probably not get down to the lake either. They probably would say no in the thought of safety.
They can but certain lines... double check with them to be certain which tour they can zip... enjoy
I do know that there is a short orientation prior to departure that takes at least ten minutes. So you have a little leeway.
Grand lakes RV in Citra
No
Not to sure check they're website
No, some walking up small hills. Im not fit and I was winded once the whole time
I asked when I was there and they had no answer just said it was a good idea
Don't know, I only did the zipline..
As long as they are closed toe. Best if they fit snuggly.
Per the website, children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Call for holidays
call to set up reservations for both. walk ins are allowed but tours fill up fast. Horseback takes around 1.5 hours and there is pleanty of time to do zipline or kayaking after.
270 for zip lines. All of the rest is on their website
It's a zip line place. There is no lodging at the place. Check surrounding area for lodging.
I fogot to mention you can rent them.
Depending on how many are in your party, calling would be the best thing to do.
Yes there are. But make sure you use them before going on the ziplines. Once you're out there, they're aren't any
Not sure about age for the zip line. But they have a very nice mining station for all ages
7 yrs. or 70lbs, 270lbs is maximum weight limit, it's more factored to a person's weight than age. So from 7 to 70 can enjoy an exhilarating day here.
I never ask a person what their pay checks average but I'm sure if you're looking for a job opportunity, all you have to do is go to their website & inquire about possible, if available employment opportunities. It would definitely be a job to wake up for happily every morning don't ya think. Lol🤩
It is best to make an appointment for the tours.
Yes with any time you need a reservation. You will be put into one group and you will have much more fun with the people you know.
They have a small shop and outside picnic tables to wait at.
No. If you want to accompany someone else you have to do the Zipline also.
No. Have a great time!!!😎
Jason, this site is answered buy Google local guides not by employees of the company. I would call them directly with this question. Thanks
If you are wanting to know if a kid is big enough they do have have weight limits they do need to be big enough to make it across the zip lines. I would says at least 70 lbs. And not bigger than 270 lbs
70 lbs. My 9 yr old went in April and had to weigh 70 lbs. She weighed 71 and had a great time!
It would be best as they might not have spots available.
They provided a different helmet with a camera attachment at no extra cost.
The first zipline our guide said we were only going about 5mph. They do get a higher and faster but its not scary at all! The guides are great and make you feel at ease plus ours kept us laughing! Ive been twice already this year and now my husband and I are taking the kids un a few weeks! If you go book the full tour instead of the express. While both are great on the full tour the zips get more into the open and over water. Much prettier views in my opinion!
You have to call to make reservations for the night zips... Minimum 4 people
$97 p/p last time I looked at the full zip line adventure. They also have horseback riding and kayating. Lots of fun and memory makings.
Hardest is climb steps short trip no steps
Bring signed paper and picture of photo id showing their signature
We paid $96 per person for 3 hours/9 zips. It is recommended to do all the zips instead of the first half which is an option, because the 2nd half has the better/longer/prettier scenery.
Zip in the rain! That would be awesome! They say "Tours will be running rain or shine."
I also believe it depends on if he or she can listen well enough to be able to slow themself down on the zip line and all. But, to be safe you should call and ask, and be sure to call his or hers docter.
I belive it is 270, but you can ask for an exception, they do that. They are really nice, there is no harm in trying!
Two times the price of whichever package you choose. No discounts unless you have a contract for some group event.
Go to web site, they have a phonr number to call for questions.
Yes
No but have to height. Have to weight at least 60 pounds up to 270 pounds.
No age limit but the weight limit is 65 or 70 lbs. The guides are great at helping everyone to relax & learn to zip properly but if they're too light they won't have enough momentum & get stuck on each line.
Yes I think there was a 90 yr young gentleman there when i went
