NOT inexpensive, but we have never had a bad meal here. Delicious bread, good wine list, great steaks and awesome sides. Kids desert "puzzle" is a fun hit too. Decor almost feels a little dated, but works for a nautical/yacht feel. Probably in our top 3 places to get a steak on Disney property.

Outstanding dining experience. Our server, Kim, was attentive and professional. Our food, from the shrimp cocktail to our dessert, was delicious. The bartenders were great as well.

As you enter, there is a sign that says something like, "We respectfully request that you wear business casual attire. No tank tops wim suits, cut off clothing or hats." (Posted in my review) It's most likely because it boarders the pool. I wear sandals, shorts and a polo shirt and never have a problem.
Yes! You can definitely use the Disney Dining Plan at Yachtsman! You are correct - you will use 2 Table-Service credits here.

Technically no, you can’t. But most servers won’t stop you. It’s a fine dining restaurant so ordering off the kids menu will definitely raise the eyebrows. 🤷♂️

They most certainly will be able to get you those....The fish n chips , I doubt...
