I was told I couldn't make a reservation for 9, so I made one for 7 and one for 2, but seriously, in this picture posted in the reviews here I see a table of 10! I surely hope they can accommodate us properly on my birthday. Anyone have insight?

If you call 407-WDW-DINE they can tell you if a party of 10 is possible. If it is, they will set it up with you.

They will definitely accommodate you. Booking on the main site is limiting. You did the right thing by getting the numbers right. Show up 30 minutes early and your fine.

We have been able to put parties together. It is wonderful for birthday celebrations

Generally, you can book overlapping reservations for smaller parties, and when you arrive, inform the host that you are together. The restaurant will always make every effort to seat your party together.

That makes no sense.

Call the Yachtsman directly and ask to speak with the Manager Jeremy. He's always helped with specific requests and is more than willing to do his best to ensure his customers have a memorable experience.
