I am completely floored at the poor condition of the hotel we're staying in. Cambria Hotel in Columbus/Polaris is a joke. We are paying almost $350 for 1 night. I would expect near perfection for that price. Website claims to have a restaurant/room service. Was told when we checked in that they haven't had a restaurant in nearly 2 years. The hot tub is broken. They have construction going on. None of the ice machines work on any floor except the first. Elevators were dirty. Tables pushed up against the wall. Almost looked abandoned. Our room... curtains are ripped. Lamp shades are broken. Jacuzzi tub bubbles didn't work. Furniture scratched up. Looks like it came out of a 50 year old motel 6. Missing knob on dimmer switch. Cobwebs on the ceiling. For $350 a night I would expect more. Would have also been nice if someone would have contacted us with the problems before booking it.

Rude front desk staff. Asked the nice young lady about my choice hotel points and if I could apply them to a late check out, she was rudely interrupted by what I assume was the manager. He should not do that. She was the only reason it got 3 stars. And the hotel room was beautiful.

We stayed on the first night of our 4 day anniversary. Beautiful hotel. The rooms were amazing. The bathroom was larger than most hotel bathrooms. I even liked the shampoo and conditioner. I asked the clerk, as we were leaving, if the hotel was new. She said No, we are around 11 years old and beginning to renovate a bit. We were totally shocked. We will return!

One of my worst hotel experiences. First off one of our queen beds was literally broken and sunk in the middle. We had already gotten settled in and unpacked and Did not want to move rooms. The place looks super dated. Although they did have a Bluetooth mirror that didn’t work. The furniture is all scuffed up and under the bathroom sink had a ton of dust where they stored the towels. All night long we could hear everyone in the rooms around us and above us. Walking around and talking, It was horrible, we had to turn up the tv to stop from hearing it. The shower curtain smelled strongly of cigarettes. When we reserved the room it said breakfast was served! well once we get here; no breakfast! They had cereal packs you could buy but no milk! They had a few pastries but it didn’t say what kind they were and they had been there the day before. Who knows how long they had sat there. What kind of hotel doesn’t have some kind of breakfast? Especially when they advertise having it? All of the staff were rude and acted like they couldn’t be bothered to help or answer a question. I’d stay far away from this hotel! Way too many options nearby.
