This park has beautiful views. It is clean and family friendly. The dog run is wonderful. It has two sides, one for smaller dogs and one for bigger ones. Rubio, my friend's doggie played in both. Each side has a pool for the doggies to play in or just cool off. It even has a hill like structure for doggies to play on. Everybody was very nice and their doggies were very friendly and well behaved. I have video of the doggies in the dog run but I can't seem to add it with the photos.

A great park to relax, very peaceful. It has some of the best views of midtown Manhattan skyline . Some great playgrounds for kid. Lots of food trucks nearby. There are lots of other locations to visit along this riverside trail like the Long Islands Sign and the Pepsi Cola Sign. There are ferry rides available from here as well.

Beautiful little park by the water that’s super clean! It’s really nice walk with some small cherry blossom trees. It has a nice walking path, playground, basketball court, and dog park. There’s also some planted flowers that add a nice touch. The view of Manhattan and the bridge from here is absolutely stunning. There’s a bunch of food trucks as well along the park on the street side so you can grab a snack. There was a good amount of people there this Friday afternoon but didn’t feel crowded. It’s a nice spot to come relax and enjoy LIC and admire Manhattan & city life. There’s good restaurants too nearby as well as a good bakery. Definitely worth a visit 😎

Excellent public state park w great beauty, but street parking is inadequate. Worth a visit 4 photography, usage of a children's playground or a picnic.

Yes but need to get there early
APrivate security guards have been hired by residents to .make sure 10 pm is enforced. They start next Thursday. Also, parks police, they'd and political officials have received thousands of complaints about noise and drunkenness after hours, so they're on alert.
It,'s so crowded that those spots get taken fast
Depends on the day and the time. Weekends are hard unless you get there before noon, let's say around 10am. Side streets along Vernon Blvd help. Better to take the NY Ferry in.
Hi, I take the ferry to NYC. There is a Pavillion with snacks etc and there is also a rec field where they hold sport training so I would guess so but I have not seen any. I am back in Tuesday so I will check and post again. Sorry for no answering directly. Happy 4th, its a great park, shops/stores nearby. Update 7/6/21. The restrooms are open 8am thru 4pm. I took a peek and they looked clean, maintained. Soap/paper etc. ok for/with children. Behind concession booth.
Yes! But parking will be closed between Center and Vernon
No only small boutiques around. But there are a bunch of great restaurants and supermarkets around like one of my favorites which is Blend on the Water ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
You have to walk maybe more than 2 blocks and make turns cause of the construction
I seen movies done here before never seen them kick anyone out you may have to double check with the parks department for best answer or just try it yolo 😅
No
No, there isn't any FREE public parking lot around. Use the city street parking app 📲 called ParkNYC. Or use SpotHero and iPark for parking garages nearby with the lowest prices. If you don't live too far, ride 🚴 your bike 🚴 to this park using the bicycle 🚴 lanes.
Free, and it has a lot of activity and nice resturants around
Yes, ground level accessible via street with accessible side walk curbs and walking/rolling paths.
Yes! But gotta get there early
