Nice park to bring the family to. There are trails, a children playground and areas to sit and do a BBQ. You can also rent boats, which are $15 a day for Newburgh residents and go fishing. The park is $20 per year for Newburgh residents and $40 for non-residents. Great park for dogs as well!
Elysium Emporium of Recovery
This park is safe, has great equipment for all ages, covered pavilions, picturesque lake views. It offers fishing, boat rentals, walking trails, basketball courts, an exercise area with updated equipment. My kids love it here the ground is covered in rubber. It's usually always busy.

Nice park. Good all ages. Nice trails around the lake. Fishing from shore or boat rentals. Free senior pass if you are 60 and a town resident. Staff is always friendly. Follow the rules and you don't get 'yelled' at like the folks that left poor reviews. If you don't put your sticker in the right place or don't check in at the gate, don't expect a hug when they have to come find you.

No swimming is allowed but I feel like they should have a little beach area for the kids however you can rent a boat which is cool
Theres a fee to enter the parking lot, Newburgh residence get a discount. You can pay for a for a day pass, or you can get a yearly pass for unlimited entries. Not sure if the price went up this year, last year for Newburgh residents it was $10 for the day pass, or $20.00 for the yearly pass. For the yearly pass you get a window sticker.
Free if they are in your car.
