I just wanted to balance out all of the negative reviews. I was there the other day and all of the staff were nice and professional. I had to wait over 3 hours to get a bed but I know that is not terrible for ER standards. It was overall a "good" experience for feeling as sick as I did.

Absolutely horrendous nursing staff. They should be ashamed of themselves. I’m pregnant and was crying in pain, severely dehydrated, all they did was give me 1 bag of fluid. I was there for 9 hours and was treated as though my pain was not real. Also I saw a few bugs crawling around the waiting room and ER hallways. I made my partner promise to never bring me there again, I’d rather be brought to Worcester and go to a REAL Hospital!

I was admitted into this "hospital" in September, 2021 and had to be there for a whole month. I was in the ICU for one week then transferred to Foster Wing, where my room was changed at LEAST 3 times during the next 3 weeks. I was unable to take care of myself (meaning, I needed their assistance to clean myself) and they were SO rough with me that I started to bleed, causing me so much pain each time they had to clean me, that I was almost in tears. I was unable to get out of bed by myself, so I had to use a bedpan, thus in need of the buzzer. Well, when I dropped the buzzer, I called out for help and many times was not responded to...for hours! When someone finally did come in, the nurses and assorted staff members behaved as if I were putting them out. (I could clearly heard them laughing and joking in the hallway, so it's not as if they had more important things to do). When I complained to the Nephrologist who was responsible for my care (Dr. Sunny) and told him I wanted to be released, he LAUGHED OUT LOUD at me, saying "what are you going to do? You can't even take care of yourself"! Totally unprofessional! There was no physical therapy done to help me regain the strength in my arms, hands and legs, making me completely reliant upon them. I understand that there's a pandemic going on and there are less well trained staff to take care of patients, BUT, if you took a job at a hospital, be WILLING to help those who need you!!! I have severe PTSD because of this experience and have foregone treatment since then, because I am terrified that I may be admitted there again and at the mercy of such hateful staff members...Several months later, they had the nerve to send me a form asking for a donation!!!

Awful experience today but I even took that in stride giving them the benefit of the doubt. But for me to call the emergency room, the mental health section to speak to my daughter and to be told “ I can’t hear you you’re mumbling and hang up. “. Absolutely no excuse. I then speak to someone else who was just as rude. Dealing with the public people. Learn some bedside manner!!!

No, they're not. I'm in patient now. Not even family allowed.
After a visit to the ER, you should make a follow up appointment with your PCP. You can speak with your doctor about your care
