I have been a patient at this practice for at least three decades ... when it was a small practice in another building on Rte 4. I have switched doctors within the practice a few times for various reasons, but I have stayed because I did get quality care from this practice over the years. No one is perfect, no practice is perfect, and there have been occasional glitches and oversights, but I have stuck with this practice because I believe that everyone in this building is doing their very best. It is true that there have been changes that have made things more difficult, but if you learn how to contact the people you need to talk with, you will get great service. My Primary Care Provider is Jennifer DeWolf and she has been great. Her nurse Andrea is also amazing. People at the desk and behind the scenes, like Rose, are also amazing. Basically, I either use the Trinity Health Portal or direct communication with the front desk. I can only be very grateful for the many things everyone there has done for me. In my opinion, this practice still provides all kinds of services that others don't including extended hours on weekdays and Saturdays, bloodwork done in the building, an 'overflow' unit for same day appointments.

THE WORST PLACE! If you are sick of your loved one is, AVOID this place! They never call you back, and somehow they aren’t able to do their job blaming the pharmacy for not having the medication when it really is THEM!

Second time this has happened to me: I use a mail order pharmacy that’s part of Tricare. September 13th- I call pharmacy to request medication refill. They submit request to Capital Region Family Health in East Greenbush (Dr. Kazbikar) The office denies the request with a note saying they want to see me for visit. That’s fine except NOBODY FROM THE OFFICE NOTIFIES ME that they denied it OR that want to see me so at this point I’m assuming the script is on its way. September 20th (almost out of medicine). I call pharmacy to check on status because I haven’t received my medication in the mail. They say it’s on hold at my doctors office. I called the office and they tell me that they didn’t approve it because I want to see me. I asked why nobody called to let me know that I need to schedule an appointment. No logical reply. I let them know that this is the second time this is happened to me, and that I was without medicine for over a week because of their failure to follow through. This very sweet receptionist told me she was going to put a priority message into the system and have a doctor send a script to my local pharmacy as now, it would be another week until I received it in the mail even if they were to send the authorization today. I requested that someone from the office please call me to confirm that they authorize the script. Not surprisingly at all, nobody called me. September 21st- I called the doctors office back and speak to the same very sweet receptionist. At this point I’m feeling like I need to leave work to go there in person to get someone to fill this script that is overdue. I don’t understand how an office can be that disorganized and leave a patient without medicine. I did my part, my pharmacy did their part, and this office dropped the ball yet again.

My doctor just recently moved to this practice. I am absolutely devastated she did so. The practice she came from was extremely pleasant and you always felt like a patient there. Everyone remembered you when you called and when you went in for appointments. Now.....I am a number. Cattle herded through a long line of miserable people. My doctor is AMAZING....I MEAN ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. I have been with her for about 10 years. She knows me, she knows my history and always makes me feel heard. Most recently I ended up in the St. Peter's ER. I was sent home with no resolve and was told to follow up with my doctor within 3 days. This occurred over Labor Day weekend, so it would be more than 3 days, which was fine. BUT......after several phone calls, over a week span, some with no live person, 3 with a person, I could not get through to my doctor. The receptionist staff, the scheduling staff and nurses are awful to deal with. You can NEVER get through to someone unless you try every option in the automated system and select a reason you're not actually calling for. I have an appointment with my doctor tomorrow and am unsure how to talk to her about this. I do not want to move to another practice, but at this point if I can't reach her....I need to move on. I hate this!!! I knew as soon as she went there it would be like this as I had seen Dennis at Capital Region before I eneded up with my doctor for the last 10 years. I expected nothing less.
