I think this is a great place to come to get better. Everyone here makes you feel like family. The atmosphere is happy and everyone is encouraging. My room very comfortable and I have all my needs met when I ring my bell. The food is excellent compliments to the chef. Bingo is great, and we have entertainment that comes in every so often. All my arrangements for my appointments are taken care of. Therapy works me hard, I couldnt walk when I came in and Im going to walk out of here thanks to them. This is my second time here for rehab and I feel like this is my second home. Savannah Cove is wonderful and I would highly recommend it.

Don't let your loved ones go here. My Dad was sent here for Rehab. He was told all his drugs would transfer OK and be covered. When he got there they said that they couldn't get one of the medications, the important one. He went without for the night and couldn't sleep. I called the nurse and she never called me back. They found a less powerful drug the next day. Then he became constipated and they wouldn't do anything for him. Every time I called no one answered and they didn't call me back, or they called me back two days later. His constipation got so bad he ended up calling 911 so that he could go to the hospital. Think about that for a minute. He is at a supposed healthcare facility and he had to call 911 to be taken to a decent healthcare facility. UPDATE! 5 months later my Mother needs Rehab to recover from a UTI. Savannah Cove is the only place available due to Covid. I remind my Mom about my Dad's experience there. She says they it will be fine, that my Dad complains too much. She gets there and she immediately hates it. She calls for help and no one comes. She is recovering from a UTI and they won't change her or help her with a bed pan, or help her to the restroom. She says that the Sunday night tech is rude to her and rough with her and wouldn't change her. I call the head nurse Ms. Cutler, the next day just asking her to call me. I was just going to explain to her that my Mother has a small bladder, is recovering from a UTI and needs to be changed promptly. The next day I call again asking the nurse to call me. The third day I call the Executive Director who supposedly isn't there, so I leave a lengthy and detailed message. I also call the Nurse again, she doesn't pick up again and still didn't call me back by the end of the day. My Mother today called to be changed and no one came. She then needed to go again. She managed to get out of bed and take care of herself, which she cannot safely do. She waited for help getting dressed and back into bed. Still, no one came! She got herself back into bed, again not safe for her. An hour after that, someone finally came and her sheets needed to be changed. For those unfamiliar with a UTI, this is how you get them, sitting in your own urine. What if my mother had fallen and hit her head? No one would be there! This place needs to be shut down!

Guess this place really turned around recently. I see some of the negative reviews, but we've had nothing but positive experiences with our mother there. She tells us the staff is helpful, kind, and attentive. She even comments about how good her dinner was on some visits. Definitely worth checking out if you have a loved one in need of some TLC.

Do not move your loved one to this facility!. The more we seem to pay the less care she got. 4 hours she was left in her room with no nurse or staff chec. king on her. Several times we found her naked in her own excrement! My mother spent three years at Savannah Court of Maitland. The first two years she was able to do everything for herself after that she declined and needed help . We paid more . We decided to move her into my brothers house November of 14. After she left we kept getting a bill for carpeting. By June of 2015 I had sent 3 registered letters and several phone calls to Greg Knowles the director to discuss the $500 bill for carpet.. replacement in her unit. He never responded to my letters or phone calls! I guess for six months he was too busy or didn't care about responding to me ! I finally pay the bill to get them off my backs! Beware you will be charged a $500 fee to change the carpet after your loved one leaves there! Crooks!

I’m confused with the web site at this facility. According to answered questions here, it looks like ALF is a part of the care here. Which is the ALF, Court or Cove? Which has memory care? And I see only two floor plans, are there more?
