THIS DEALER WILL TRY TO SCAM YOU! Read the reviews! I took my 2019 Honda Pilot Elite (the most expensive car they sell) in for service. Two weeks prior, a "collision system fault" light came on. The vehicle was ONE DAY past warranty, with 10,000 miles left on a 36,000 mile factor warranty, and they wanted to charge me for a full diagnostic to fix a problem that is well publicized as a software problem with the collision avoidance system. It seems my particular VIN was not part of the recall, but the problem EXACTLY mirrors what the recall is about. They tried to blame a TWO YEAR OLD scratch on the front side bumper for the problem and wanted to sell me the new radar sensor and a full diagnostic service for what is most likely a simple factory-prescribed software fix. They refused to even try the factory sponsored repair unless I paid the full diagnostic charge. Did I mention the vehicle was ONE DAY past warranty? They are not open for service on Sunday, so I could not bring it in the day before. I have emails that show I notified them of the problem a week ago (while it was in warranty) but I could not get it to them before today. Their total lack of professional customer care is telling. In a time when most dealers are nickel and diming customers and jacking up prices it baffles me that a dealer would not have some form of good customer service to create loyalty so that when this era of high car prices and low availability is over they might have some loyal customers. NOT HOLMAN HONDA! Do yourself a favor. Find another dealer and service department. I am taking the Pilot back to Tallahassee where the dealer said they would take care of it and not be asinine about it. UPDATE: We took the vehicle to the selling dealer in Tallahassee. They "cleared the code" that was on the screen, something Holman insisted they could not do. It seems it is a COMMON PROBLEM that late model Pilot Elite models that are not driven often (ours has 26000 miles in three years) is the battery will develop a bad cell or otherwise go bad. The dealer did a simple battery check and the problem was a dead cell that caused the voltage to drop and consequently affect the collision system monitors. At no time was the vehicle unsafe to drive, it simply was a sensor fault issue due to low voltage for the radar system. Since I am sure Holman has seen scores of Honda pilots since the 2016 model refresh with this exact battery issue, it is fairly safe to say they also have seen this issue. Rather than do a simple battery test and exhibit BASIC GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE, they choose to use each and every opportunity to treat the customer wallet as a profit center and demand a $175 diagnostic fee. What a ripoff! Finally, in a display of terrible customer service and making a public "show" of seeming to care, they reply to these reviews with a statement of "we are sorry you had a bad experience, please reach out to us..." They know EXACTLY how to reach me. They spam me with email and snail mail (because they cannot call due to FCC regulations) to get me to buy from them, use them for service, etc. If they REALLY cared about the matter, they would reach out to me, not expect me to call THEM. This is a prime example of saying: "we don't really care, but we say we do." AGAIN: AVOID THIS DEALER FOR SERVICE!

Poorly managed.

Your vehicle may be spending a lot more time in the driveway these days, delaying a mileage milestone that illuminates a service reminder light. While maintenance recommendations are often based on mileage or time, it’s important to consider that right now the suggested schedules could look a little different. Idle vehicles can suffer from dead batteries, stale gas and flat tires, which can lead to bigger, more costly issues down the road. Staying on top your maintenance routines will keep your vehicle in tip-top shape for when you’re ready to hit the open road.
I recommend you call the number that appears here, speak with the Service Department to ask that
